I told everybody here before in my thread. We should merge our strenght to make a perfect patch. As the name suggests, my thread's name includes the word "Project". We should make a perfect project just like the SUM for 07.

This is one hell of a lighting patch. Best one out there yet. There are still some minor tweaks you can make to it, of which i'm sure you're aware of.
Reduce the shine just a tiny teeny bit, fix the way the light reflects off of busts (aka head, neck, clavicle area) b/c it reflects strangely sometimes (look at 1st kobe pic). Anyhow, great friggin work my friend. Keep it up!!!

You can see what looks great and where u can improve. Your lighting looks exceptional on arms, armbands & accessories textures, and faces (when looking up). Again that neck thing is a slight issue. Other than that, again I believe you have the best lighting to date. Keep it up.

The neck thing will be probably an issue that we won't be able to prevent. Because in the NBA Live 08(as well as 06-07), the light that reflects on the arms and faces comes from above. That is colour 3 of the "lit5on5.ubr". So, the only solution IMO is reducing the colour 3 which is known as shiny effect.

But if we reduce the colour 3(shiny effect) too much, you won't see some good stuff like in your screenshots.

I hope boshandbargnani will improve this lighting and it will be perfect without issues.

EDIT:
I edited boshandbargnani's lighting file, and here is the result. It has less shine but not looking good like in your screenshots. (I use SG's armbase and 50 brightness).

correct on all accounts my friend. well, jersey 512 for just KB in those screenshots at least lol. I need to dumb down some other textures b/c i didnt put on 512 jerseys till recently and it's beginning to make my game crash sometimes. you wouldnt happen to know where i could get some nice 1x jerseys would you? i've been lookin everywhere.
