No man i dont think u understand me i dont want to know HOW to patch I want to know if all i have to do to make your roster work is download it and install it without downloading any other extras. Maybe someone else can help me out too if they understand what im asking?

First, Icemena$, thank you for this update! Unfortunately, I'm running into some issues, but I was able to go through the players, etc and I'm really digging this!

However, as of now, each time when I try to play a game, NBA Live crashes. I think it could be something I'm doing wrong, but I thought I did everything correctly and chronologically. That is, I did the following:


1) Installed NBA Live 2004
2) Updated with latest Patch
3) Downloaded "Render_CRU.rar"
3a) Extracted to two subfolders
- render_cru
- Roster
4) Downloaded "xprtteam.rar"
5) Extracted contents of "render_cru" folder directly into C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 2004\render\
6) Extracted entire folder from "xprtteam.rar" into C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 2004\render
7) Extracted entire contents of "Roster\saves" folder into My Documents NBA Live 2004 saves folder.
8) Loaded the roster within the game, (successfully)

While I can do a practice, when I try to start a game, it begins loading and crashes when the "ball" is about 75% lit up.

Also, I do have the custom art enable in the correct file. But is there something I'm missing?

Oh, and I think all in all, I was prompted to only overwrite 3 files. Don't know if that's a good sign or not...

EDIT: I didn't think of this before, but I just tried running a couple of games without loading the rosters and everything worked just fine. Then I went back and loaded the rosters. This time, no crash. Finally, I completely exited the game and plugged in my controller. Worked perfectly fine.

Honestly, I haven't done anything to my PC all day. But who questions progress?

So far i have only installed the NBA LIVE 04, but what must i do to upgrade this file... to upgrade players, teams?

Same problem here. After installing your roster patch some players got black faces.
Can you upload roster with all faces looking normal. All i want is download your roster and start play NBA, (and not after updateing to look for a missing faces and tutorials how to fix them).
Make it easy for us please.
