Talk about NBA Live 08 here.

Postby AJ21 on Sun Dec 23, 2007 6:17 am

here is some feedback to improve fix:

1. make fix files .bats, they are much safer
2. v1.0 is better than v1.1
3. cpu makes a stupid backcourt violation pass
4. game speed in v1.0 is good

Fuck You! to all those guyz who keep on complaining. if you dont want to encounter those problems better for you to create your own patch... dnt you guyz know that kris really tried his to make nba 08 better.. he didnt force us to download/use it... by the way chirs.. as wat ive read above retolock called you kabayan. and kabayan word comes from a tagalog word which means bro

Great job overall Kris (Y)
I played a full game with your lastest release and while there's still some issues, it is much much better than the original gameplay.
My only suggestion for your next patch: could you please include the actual files (dbf, aiact,...) in your zip, and not just .bat files to install each of them? Might be my personal preference, but I find it much easier to copy and paste the files where they need to go, instead of going through an actual installation process.
Thanks in advance :)

Awesome work Kris ! This fix is the most important patch to me, i don't care so much for jerseys and shoes if the gameplay sux !

Here's a suggestion: try to add more screens/picks in the game, to help whoever is carrying the ball.

could you please explain what exactly AIACT files are for?

cause it seems its only file that influences online gameplay

are those somekind of sliders or?are offensive fouls when you take charge in defence now more often?are some dunks reduced?cause those dunks are virtually impossible to defend, dunks over 3 players and stuff?

sorry for bothering :D

Here is the preview of my upcoming 1.3 gameplay fix
This is a simulation game between Spurs and Cavaliers
Pros
 More passes
 More backdowns
 No star domination
 Fixed substitution problem 90%

Cons
 often times there are lots of return passes that will result in turnovers
 some teams passes the ball from the backcourt to the frontcourt without dribbling

Here is some screens(sorry for the big pic)

Kris, the base for this version 1.3 is your 1.0?
I think your 1.1 is better, good playbility and not return passes...

I think also 1.3 does mix great sigshot and GTM of v. 1.2 with good passes v1.1

However, in my opinion the passes of 1.2 is already good: in my game Celtics vs Heat, Rondo have 16 assist (!) in 28 min, (all boston 23 assist).
I use "It's like that" fix and my Realistic Roster beta (with personal primacy values)

Thank you very much Kris for your work!

@redphive

bro the reason why cavaliers has a greater value of fg% for the reason that they took a lot of inside shots than the outside shots as you can see from my shot display preview they took a lot of inside shots including layups and dunks.ill try to minimize the values for the cpu giving them a less fg%

@Albys

thanks for your comment bro but i think v1 is really good its just that there are lots of return passes and in v1.2 i am using the 07 act files thats why there are no return passes and promise once i got rid of this too much return passes ill assure you 1.3 will be the best :D

That is why I like 1.2 so much!!! :D
Finally a difficult game.I waited for that so long....
So,kris, whatever you do,just please don't make it easier thatn it is in 1.2.You can make it even harder(never too difficult  ).
And the more difficult, the more like 2k8.AKA,more plays, inteligent, real, basketball game.......Keep the good work.... :!:
