I'm making this thread for two reasons:

The first one is because just the other day I was thinking and it came to my mind that I don't know much stuff about you guys. I mean, the "Get to know you thread" is just generic info, and there isn't much personal info in the other threads either (I could be proved wrong, though, since I'm not a big fan of reading huge-ass threads).

The second reason is because I noticed, that, in the past week or so, the forums've been practically dead. Not to mention the fact that, IMO, the lack of quality threads in the past year or so has killed the NLSC: people left, dumbasses took the place of (ex) quality-posters, Jackal lost fifty pounds, Riot joined the army, you know, horrible stuff's happened.

- What kind of music do you listen to? Why? Rock n Roll. Why, because there is nothing conceptually better according to John Lennon, who is my God. Also listening to Alternative, Britpop, Shoegazer, Alt-Country and old skool punk (like Sex Pistols, Clash etc.)

- Where do you see yourself in ten years? Hopefully teaching/researching at university in holocaust & genocide studies.

- What are your hobbies? Playing Music (guitar, bass, harmonica, bongos), Songwriting, Basketball, Snowboarding, Xbox 360, drinking, AFL, listeing to music, buying cds, watching movies/tv shows, this place and RealGM

- If you had a wish, what would you wish for? No idea to be honest, pretty content at the moment. Maybe some extra cash to help pay the bills.

- Do you sing? Yes, but not very well. I sing when I write songs, but not at a level where I could perform for others solo. Working on it though, and am slowly getting there.

- What do you think of soccer? Starting to grow on me. Don't know a lot of the players, and its a big learning curb to get familiar with them, but I'm enjoying it more and more of late. I picked an EPL team to go for (Man City thanks to Oasis), and going from there. If anybody wants to help educate...

- Did the chicken or the egg come first? The Walrus came before both.

- Do you like your life/yourself? Yep. Didn't have the best years through 14-16 with a few bad habits and dark moments, but now things have come good and I'm happy with who I am and where I am going.

- Have you got any vices? Procastination and laziness, at times, perhaps. Nothing major now, did drink a bit a few years back.

- What do you think of the NLSC? Great place to escape reality, follow basketball, have a bitch, relax, have a laugh and talk to people you've never met before and probably wont but feel like you know them well.

- In your opinion, what is heaven on Earth? Was going to put a good blow job from the gf, but Geelong winning the Premiership this year surpassed that!

- Do you drink? Yes

Various styles of jazz, R&B from the 50's, 60's and 70's, classic rock are my favorites. I like music with almost palpable emotion (profound emotion, not emo ranting) and those fit the bill and have always struck me as worthwhile.

I can sing pretty well and did so a lot in high school accompanying myself on guitar - not so much in college however.

My second favorite sport to watch after boxing, unless you count pro wrestling as a sport. However, I hate the fact that keeping up with it in the U.S. is nearly impossible, especially while at college where I can't get Fox Soccer Channel. I make up for it by playing PES religiously.
