Mofo wrote:Los Angeles, CA (ESPN) - The Los Angeles Lakers announced today that they have signed songwriter and music artist Elton John to a multi-year deal to play at their home games. In addition to his music duties, he will also be playing as a part time player for the Lakers. It is assumed that he will be getting minutes at the point guard position backing up sophomore Jordan Farmar.

oh man, you seriously said that?
