Which team will Michael Jordan own?

If Jordan isn't interested in buying the Nets, look for him to buy Orlando or Miami.

Tmac could learn some defense and become the official 'next Jordan'. I'm a Bulls fan but I would switch to the Magic if Jordan was the owner.

I can see why David Stern is dying to get Jordan a team; he owes Jordan BIG TIME.

well for me it doesn't really matter who MJ gets involved with now... he played with the Wizards, so it's not like it can get much lower than that. Good luck to him with whatever he does, it looks like all the options near to home have worn thin.

Jordan was born in New York, and his favorite court is Madison Square Garden, so it would be cool if he bought the Nets and moved them to New York.

I also wouldn't mind him owning a team in Florida either since i wouldn't mind living there and i would like to live in the location of my favorite team so i can go to the home games.

LOL@Kobe: Don't drop the soap.

Well he owned the Cavs and Clippers all through his career. As far as Bulls fans are concerned he's always owned our team. :)

Sorry, I just don't see why MJ would buy the Nets then move the team to New York when there's already the New York Knicks. I believe the Knicks owner is already planning to sell the team. P. Diddy is interested in buying it. MJ has a lot of options though. I wouldn't mind seeing him build a new franchise in the next couple of years. Having 32 teams in the NBA might be fun (if two more franchises are created, including MJ's).

I think the Nets should be moved to New York because there are easily enough basketball fans to make them the NBA's most popular team despite sharing NY with the Knicks. Mix their habit of making the Finals every year with a huge basketball population and you get $$$$$$$$$$
