haha, Did he seriously say that? In all honesty I wouldn't want to mess with anyone on the internet, who knows what could happen to me?

The point is [a bunch or irrelevant gibberish about how Eddie Griffin did things once]

He was a below average turned awful basketball player making millions of dollars.
The world is better off without him.

The personal hit I am taking from this aside, your lack of respect for the death of another human being goes beyond reprehensible.
He had his share of problems, not quite like everyone else
but who are we to judge another. Very, very, very bad taste.
Just saw shannon's earlier post.
He got into a fight with Shine later that year.
That team was incredibly talented, it was a top 10 recruiting year for them. Only Barrett stayed all four years.
Yeah, I know, what was her problem? Geez.
What did he ever do that should make me respect him?
He said respecting someones death. It's the same sort of respect you may or may not have for the dead, eg. walking on someones grave is not respectful.

For the same reason no one has yet to do so to Hussein.
Griffin never hurt anybody

Yes.
The guy made pit bulls fight, but he's still a human being. Where he's from, it seems damn common to hold dogfights and bet on them. Growing up in that environment, it wouldn't seem that bad to him. No excuse to be dogfighting, but I would still respect the guy and have respect for his death. For the same reason no one has yet to do so to Hussein.
I bet people have.
I would too, he was worthless as far as I know - no that I follow politics at all.
this entire thread has gone way off course. its really sad that some people seem happy that he is dead. its ok he died cause he was not that good anyway? if he was leading your team in points, or rebounds, or whatever, would you still not give a shit if he died? i read something like "did you care when you didnt know it was a nba player"? the answer is no as i didnt find out anything about it til i saw it on realgm, however if i go home tonight and see someone died cause they got ran over or whatever i will care to the poine of respecting them enough as a person to not flat out insult thier life by saying its a better world without them.
to be honest you can probably make that comment ("the world is better off without him") to about half the worlds population and it could honestly be true, but the fact remains that most people in this world have the respect for others to not walk up to some random guy on the street and say "if you die right now this world will be improved"
really all this thread has done is show who is a complete fucking asshole
