Rush Hour 3-Horrible movie and boring from beginning to end. The only laugh was probably where they interrogated the Asian guy who spoke french.

You have to be kidding or you hate Jackie Chan . His movie's are always awesome.

I watched Ghost Rider, yeah I know I'm late . I have to admit I just love Cage for some reason. He is one of my favorite actors.

Is anyone else excited about the Hitman movie as I am ? I know the actor choice isn't the greatest , but I can't wait to see it .

Superbad is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Non-stop laughinh for me. It also had a good storyline. It's an all-around great movie.

I don't hate Jackie Chan. Rush Hour 3 was just not as good as I expected it to be and downright boring. RH1 was alright, RH2 was pretty good, and then 3 is a letdown.

After Tranformers and Die Hard 4.0 (both Hollywood action flicks mind you), Mr. Brooks swoops in to the third spot for me replacing Fracture.

If Fracture was good, Mr. Brooks blows it out of the water and HOW. Awesome movie, Kevin Costner is awesome, lots hated Waterworld, but I enjoyed it. The Guardian was so so, but you can't say the man can't act.

In the mood for some good thriller, suspense and a couple of well written lines and an amazing story with lots of subplots? Mr. Brooks is the way to go. (Demi Moore's reason enough, total MILF.)

Edit: Reign Over Me: Let me start off by telling you the first 30 minutes will test your patience. It made me very fucking bored and I was thinking it's going to be a funny movie a la You, Me & Dupree (going off of the ad) but nothing funny was happening in the first 30 minutes. Well, nothing was happening period. We contemplated putting it off, but I said fuck it, maybe it gets better. It did. Reign Over Me is a drama movie with Adam Sandler, don't expect a Mr. Deeds, Waterboy performance. Nah, this was a really good movie, it was well written, a bit slow but very well written. I felt for the guy, I usually don't feel anything. Don Cheadle as usual is his best, Jada was wasted (in my opinion) the lady from Troy was alright but the scene stealer was Sandler. I've gotten used to him as the funny man but after Click I started liking him a little bit and then I saw this movie and I can say, Adam Sandler is a damn good actor.

Seriously, in the mood for a serious drama story that will surely make you feel emotions like anger, despair and depressiveness with a few light moments that make you chuckle or go wtf, give Reign Over Me a look. You won't regret it.

Damn Jackal ,your review will make me watch Reign Over Me tonight. I have one question though . I read the plot that they have on imdb.com and was just wondering if the movie starts off with a scene of the 9/11 attacks or do they only talk about it ?

I just don't get why funny man's are playing serious characters now, though they do a very good performance, but still I'd rather see them in comedy's and laugh my ass off.

Watch "I Now pronounce you Chuck and Larry" if you want to see a hilarious Adam Sandler. Movies like "Click", "Reign Over Me", and "Punch Drunk Love" show his acting ability, and I think that's the point. He's not just a comedian anymore, he's an actor.

I also completely agree with Jackal's review. It is slow at first, but it gets much better.

Pera, I don't think they talk about or show the 9/11 attacks other then referencing them.

Watched Rush Hour 3 yesterday, oh man that is hilarious. Best part is with the Paris taxi driver: "Sorry, I can't be an American Spy anymore, my wife says I have to be home for dinner" :D :D :D

Finished watching Reign Over me finally. I hate it when I don't have time to watch the whole movie at once Its like I sit down watch 20 minutes of it and then I have to do a chore that takes one hour, go back and then do this three times . But enough of the rant now.

The movie was great , I feel the script was excelent and the actors especially Sandler did a very good job. Now I actually wish Sandler would do more movie's like this. Comedy's don't really show the complete talent of the actor . In this case I saw something that I haven't really expected to see. A great drama staring a comedian in a lead role .

Damn it Anthony , Rush Hour 3 sounds great, but It'll take some time for me to see it . God I hate waiting for movies. :x

^^ Does it take a while for movies to go to Slovenia? Cuz in Russia it took them only like 3-4 days after the movie was released in America to put it completely translated in movie theaters.

It depends on the movie.

We got The Simpson's the same day as the US. I believe it was a global premiere if I'm not mistaken. Some movie's don't even make it to the theaters here . So I have to depend on other ways to see them. Some movie's take really long to get here , mainly the ones that aren't as popular or don't have the big name actors.

So yes , Russia probably has the upper hand on this one since you get movie's very fast after its release. That just goes to show how our country is small.

Reign Over Me had some cute moments, but what made it good really was the acting. personally i think sandler is a one trick drama pony, but don cheadle was superb. it does tug on your heartstrings in a very contrived way, but i wasn't bothered by that.

Just watched Beerfest and Ocean's Thirteen... Beerfest was what I expected from Broken Lizard, crude, funny, and sometimes just wrong.

Ocean's 13 seemed a bit boring really, and confusing at times, you pretty much get old of the gimmicks, wasn't great, but wasn't terrible.

Planning to see War maybe either tonight or tomorrow...

Yup, Bourne was pretty good. That Kimmel clip was also pretty funny. :)

Finally got to watch Science of Sleep recently. Pretty good actually, I'd recommend it. Also finally watched Oldboy which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thoroughly.

Watched Superbad last night and it was really really funny but at the same time I felt kinda old as after a while I started cringing at the excessive swearing. Back in the day I'd probably have a gigglefest but it just seemed a bit much though still funny. Mclovin is a pimp.

just got back from Superbad. I gotta say I was hating on this movie from the first preview I saw on TV of it. I thought it would be like another Napoleon Dynamite or something. I was surprised I was laughing for most of the movie. definitely go see with guy friends. my friend's [cute] sister came and she thought it was funny but I tihnk she would've enjoyed it more if she was a guy.

War is title Rogue Assassin in here. :|

Just saw:

The Condemned: What a rip-off. It has the same concept as the Japanese movie Battle Royale which has delinquent students in an island killing off each other until one survives in an attempt by the government to rid juvenile criminality. Only The Condemned has criminals in it, wow.
Even Stone Cold is not enough to save this movie but Vinnie Jones was decent as the bad guy.

Shooter: Not bad, not good. Meh. You're better off reading the book which it is based from.

Hostel: Makes me think twice about going with beautiful women if I'm on vacation in a foreign country.
HE'S USING HYPNOSIS!

I don't know about 'Good Luck Chuck', Q. I just read the plot outline on IMDb and it sound too much like something my sisters (and all my female friends) would enjoy.

I don't think Jessica Alba is worth watching a movie that, I repeat, my sisters would enjoy.

Welcome to modern American cinema, especially in the "thriller" genre. Take book/movie (in this case both) from Asia, adapt the story, make it "new" and release for money.

At least The Departed openly acknowledged adaption of Infernal Affairs.

But come on, this was from "WWE Films" what did you expect?

Hmm, I have a backlog of movies. Lives of Others, Downfall, Glengarry Glen Ross.

Ones I've last seen. Big Nothing was solid, if underdeveloped. Let's Go To Prison was surprisingly more interesting than I thought, and definately "Gob Goes To Prison" the movie. The History Boys was gay, literally. Smokin' Aces was unwatchable, but Jason Bateman was amazing. The Proposition is probably the best western since Tombstone. 88 Minutes is utter and complete trash. In contrast, Hot Fuzz is a thing of absolute brilliance. Notes On A Scandal is good, it's no American Psycho, but close.

^^ Jessica Alba :hump:

I watched three movie's today or should I say in the middle of the night.

First one was Redline. I actually enjoyed it. i liked it actually more then the The fast and the furious series . The race scenes were alright and the lead actress was pretty hot too. Cars and sexy woman (Y) .

And the other two were The Fantastic Four movies.
The action scenes were okay also the jokes made me laugh. The rock slide joke made me laugh so hard. Though I feel they could've done more with the Silver Surfer movie since it was the sequel . But they are still good movies to watch .

I didn't "get" Redline due to the dismal score on IMDB.

I watched Silver Surfer on Sunday, Alba looked like shit. I didn't know she could, clearly she can. Michael Chiklis floats my boat, that guy (Vic Mackey) is the bomb.

Went to Sneak Preview today with 2 other guy friends...it turns out it was Georgia Rule. We stayed till they showed the main title and then got up and left. Now that takes balls, you could just feel the eyes looking at the only 3 people getting up and leaving.
