I'm surprised Ray Allen's form was mentioned so late in this topic... his shot style sticks straight to the textbook form. I've always liked Stackhouse's shot form as well.

I love Marion's, it's just...amazing. i don't know what my shot looks like, but I think it's stupid looking, but works, like him.

anyone notice that when Kevin Martin shoots it looks like he's reaching for the ball into his left pocket?

Josh Childress  . Joking, he has one of the weirdest shots; he PURPOSELY sticks out his elbows before he releases the ball.

Steve Nash, Ray Allen, Kyle Korver, all have very smooth and great looking shots. Something about Dirk's shot makes it look "not fluid" to me, sometihng about his release I think that makes it look weird to me. Everything Kobe shoots looks like a fadeaway, even his normal open jumpers look like fadeaways to me.T-Mac's shot is not textbook, but it sure looks smooth. Gilbert Arenas' shot looks more like a twitch than an actual shot...Billups' shot SORT OF looks like a twitch to me sometimes.

dirk like spreads his legs a little bit a bit before release, and he doesn't get up very high on his shot....

Nash, Allen has a textbook shot, but i think it looks a little funny to keep ur elbows straight.. Allen gets WAY up there before he shoots..

Tmac has a smooth shot, but he shoots a little to the right.. Camby, Lebron, Stephen Jackson both shoots over their head ( which isn't too bad ) same as Garnett kind of ..

Wade, Jordan, Kobe's shots are nice.. they aren't as textbook as Nash/Allen's ( elbow isn't straight ) therefore it extends to the right relative to the body after the release.. and thats how i shoot too...

Also Kerr shoots like Nash and them as well..

I miss David Robinson's shot.. he would jump, high, higher higher, to the top then going back down, lower, almost on da ground, then he releases hah

Shawn Marion's is awesome. It's not even like a shot. It seriously looks like he's just throwing it with no inkling of where it's going.

Yao Ming is developing a beautiful hook shot.

Other than that, I really liked Jeff Hornacek.

Devean George's shot is funky-looking. Not very smooth, but pretty cool.

Ray Allen all the way, if there was a jumpshot page in the dictionary it would include a picture of his jumper.

No kidding, the Admiral also came to my mind when I first read this topic. But I never really liked his shot, because it was soooo wrong... Hell, how could he hit it that much? When we talk about quirky shots, we have to get Patrick Ewing's, Anthony Mason's and Nick van Exel's freethrow styles in there.

I'm gonna go with Carlos Boozer's shot. It's so funky and it goes in. He like rests the ball on his right shoulder then shoots it.

I also like Bruce Bowen's three point shot from the corner. He bends so low and he almost always makes it from the corner.

I think Vince Carter has a good stroke. He brings the ball all the way back. I like Ben Gordon's the best though.

Reggie Miller's even if it looks funky compared to other great shooters.
Larry Bird also because it looks effortless, he doesn't even jump that high.
