Choose your NBA final

Sun May 20, 2007 5:30 pm

So there are only 4 teams left so if I am good at maths (and I am) there is 4 differents NBA final possible

Cleveland vs Utah
Cleveland vs San Antonio

Detroit vs Utah
Detroit vs San Antonio

Which one do you pick and why ?

The Pistons vs spurs revenge ?
The under estimated Jazz ??

My choice is Utah vs Cleveland : first because it is not epected at all and I would like to see LeBron vs Boozer. Just think that these 2 guys could be in the same team !

Sun May 20, 2007 5:43 pm

What will happen: Detroit vs. Spurs
What would be coolest to see happen: Detroit (and people say the Spurs are dull to watch, I can't stand the Cavs despite LeBron) vs. Jazz

Sun May 20, 2007 5:50 pm

you should make a poll....but, i want a re-match of 05!!!!

Sun May 20, 2007 5:54 pm

I think: The Pistons will face the Spurms simply because they are both the superior team
I want Obivously because i'm a Pistons fan i want to see them there but against them i want the Spurms becuase i want revenge for 05

Sun May 20, 2007 6:22 pm

Jazz versus Pistons :P

Sun May 20, 2007 6:34 pm

for me, any match-up except SA vs DET... and i would root for the underdog...

Sun May 20, 2007 7:39 pm

Of course it's gonna be Spurs vs Pistons. Jazz don't have such offense to beat the Spurs, they'll be shut down just like Suns(though I think Phoenix could've won it if not the suspensions).
And about the Cavs, it's obvious if they manage to make a seven-game series, they'll loose the last game...

Sun May 20, 2007 8:52 pm

As long as the Cavaliers aren't in the finals, I'll be somewhat happy. I can't watch that team, their style of play is bad on the eyes.

Sun May 20, 2007 8:58 pm

I think it will be Spurs vs Pistons

and i also want it to be Spurs vs Pistons, because it will be the more exciting match-up, and i hate the Jazz and the Cavs bore the hell out of me. So yeah

Sun May 20, 2007 9:09 pm

Spurs - Pistons my guess also

Sun May 20, 2007 10:50 pm

it will be spurs vs pistons but i really want to see utah make it. i rather see utah and the pistons mainly cause if cleveland makes it the media wont shut up about lebron james and i want to see him play hard all the time before the media pumps him up any more. either way, go utah

Sun May 20, 2007 11:09 pm

Im hoping Spurs v Pistons, because we can beat Spurs. Jazz always seem to beat us in the last 2 years... I wouldnt like our chances against them

However, the winner of the east will be whoever comes to play.
If lebron comes to play, they will win. If Detroit does, we willwin.

Sun May 20, 2007 11:18 pm

It's hard to go past the Spurs/Pistons. Which is what i'd want. Because it's the only way the finals would avoid going to a sweep. Unless it was Cleveland/Utah, but that would be crap.

Mon May 21, 2007 12:08 am

Cavs/Jazz, simply for the fact that either way we'd see a team win its first title in club history. I'd be surprised if it happened though as it seems a Spurs/Pistons rematch is inevitable. That won't be so bad I guess though I hope it would turn out to be more likes Games 5-7 of that series. The first four games in 2005 were very anti-climactic with four straight blowouts to tie it up at 2-2 before Game 5 and Horry's heroics made things interesting from the opening tip to the final buzzer. In my opinion that's what made the 2005 Finals a little dull, not the style of play as others opined.

cavs/sa

Cle is a huge underdog, but as a fan I believe :)

LBJ is the biggest superstar left, mainly because he's a winner unlike kobe, mcgrady, etc. Lets hope someone else can step up like marshall and gibson did.

Mon May 21, 2007 12:30 am

Pistons (I hate them, but I cannot stand LeBron James) vs. the Spurs is what's most likely to happen.

I personally would want to see how the Jazz would fare in the Finals, but I think their team is way too inexperienced to beat San Antonio this deep in the playoffs.

Mon May 21, 2007 12:51 am

jazz have easy way to get here (conference finals),so they dont have big enemies (like others teams did with pistons, spurs, etc.) 1 big win was over the houston (ohh damm!!!), so i think there is no chance to jazz.there will be 4/2

Spurs are dirty team (except duncan (good boy :) )), likes to injury players or create da fight. They fcukt me up!!! Damm them!

Detroit is the good team, i thinked that the chicago gonna beat them... there will be 4/3 detroit wins. Clevelend have one chance-good play from LBJ, Big z n larries nicw passes the ball...

there will be detr - spurs 4/2 I think.good luck 4 DET

no....Tim Duncan is....and Kobe has as many rings as LBJ has series wins.

The "low-rating" Spurs - Pistons final. Personally I don't know why people will criticize it as a low ratings final...it seems like a great basketball matchup to me. :|

this should go into the hall of fame as one of the dumbest posts ever. what has lebron won exactly? i would like to argue that tim duncan is a bigger star than lebron but thats not true, which only goes to show that most of the people who watch basketball actually know nothing about it, and only care about flash and hype.

Mon May 21, 2007 9:23 am

Spurs-Pistons seems inevitable for the finals. Solid defenses with lots of playoff experience, it's still doing the trick. But given the surprises we already had during these playoffs, it feels like next season might look very different.

Go Spurs!

what has lebron won exactly?

He won ROY in his rookie campaign.
He won the All-Star MVP.
:proud:
