Hey, it's still an award, and deserves more recognition in a time when players regularly beat the crap out of each other.

It's been a great season for him, and he has only improved in the playoffs so far.

Congrats to Luol, at least he got something this season in terms of awards after his awesome season and continued great play through the post season. He's probably satisfied with sweeping the defending champs in the first round though.

The NBA players are the ones who actually votes for the nominees and the winners, not the coaches or media. That means a lot to be recognized by your own peers.

right...coz its actually the ones who play against him that voted for him...that's what a real award should be..not a popularity and stat sheet contest like the MVP and All Stars...
