Well, I missed the entire first half of tonights game.. i fell asleep an hour or two before....
The Heat never let up, even when the Pistons made runs. D-wade came out and was a huge factor today even though he was sick up to the game. I almost had flashbacks to last year when he wasn't able to play , but he seemed really determined to play this time. Shaq was completely dominant again.
Hopefully if they play Dallas they can find an answer to Dirk. Both teams will probably be extremely hungry for the title.... the Heat with all their veterans who havent won a championship, and the Mavs with Dirk having been eliminated so many times now ready to show they can win it. If that's the matchup, it will be a great one. I just hope players like Zo can get a ring.

I'm starting this thread up again for this years playoffs.
Go Heat! (even though they're down early on)

It's alright, the Heat can always come back from a 0-2 deficeit. Done it once, they'll do it again.

glad to see the heat go home early. now if the spurs can loose maybe we wont have to put up with endless flopping in this year playoffs
Sun Apr 29, 2007 2:45 am
might as well close this thread for this year

?
It's rampant throughout the NBA. We should also then send the Mavs home, because Devin Harris is probably the biggest flopper behind Manu.
Anyhow... sad, sad showing by the Heat. I know Wade was injured, but still. They would have won today had it not been for such horrible FT shooting. Even if Shaq and Zo had combined for 50%, which is not a stretch, they could have pulled it out. A lot of the turnovers came down the stretch when they were trying to get back in the game. Still, they allowed themselves to be put in an elimination game, so FTs or not, it doesn't matter.
Better luck next yr I guess.

ben wallace 7/8 free throw
shaq 0/7 free throw
mourning 2/7 free throw
think that sums it up, ben wallace won it at the line for the bulls
Mon Apr 30, 2007 10:43 am
i guess Shaq forgot that he makes FT's when it counts
Mon Apr 30, 2007 12:52 pm
Miami had a good run. Bulls just wanted it more and when it came down to the line, Wallace's free throws were the difference. All I can hope now is Warriors elminate Mavs even though I bet $40 against the Warriors(and I live in Francisco)but I thought the Mavs would look better than they are now.
Mon Apr 30, 2007 1:36 pm
I've been picking the Warriors all season long.

Shit Axel, you are like the only guy who has posts I agree with and like the same teams. And you are the only other Heat fan I've seen on this forum as well.
Mon Apr 30, 2007 3:46 pm
All the Heat fans left

I recall there being more last season.
Sat May 05, 2007 6:26 am
^ Bandwagoners and the dickriders left.
Which means I can resume being a fan of Dwyane Wade after being impressed by him during the 2004 playoffs.
I just suspended supporting him after too many people dickrode him when the Heat became champs.
