Don't we usually get some kind of buzz for the new Live

I would love Next Gen graphics, but I'm worried that it won't be patchable. I'd rather play a Live that I could patch than a Live that I can't.
Opinions are my own.

Like the guy said in the Q&A, they don't spend alot of their resources on the PC version. I think they make one in general because it is easy to port from current gen consoles and they know they have a dedicated audience, let alone having a monopoly on the PC version. So, if they can port the next gen version "easy enough" for what resources they use for the PC version, then we should definitely see one in the future, even if it takes a few years.

On another note, if anyone listened to the whole thing, what do you think about his thoughts for the future? I really like what he said about the future of online, which is: 5 on 5 - with 10 consoles, where everybody controls one player on the court. I'm pretty sure everybody has been wanting that to happen.

Wasn't there a game on the Xbox made by Microsoft that did that?

That's not what I said. The Current Gen consoles will most likely be phased out over the next couple of years as more people buy the new hardware and there's less and less in the way of new and marketable features that can be accomplished on the older consoles. I'm not sure what will happen to the PC version at that point but I would hope that given there's a market for it they would continue to make a PC version, porting from the Next Gen version instead.

We can really only speculate at this point but if it's NBA Live 08 we're talking about, I believe we can safely assume there will be a PC version until we hear otherwise, as there is still a Current Gen production team.
