Has no D is just exaggerated like people tend to when a superstar is not more than an average defender. But he is still and average defender in the NBA. You will notice that when you watch the European Championships for example, where Dirk´s defense is among the top.

No one uses 'Wilt the Stilt' anymore since Wilt himself admitted that he really hates that nickname.BigKaboom2 wrote:I don't know if these count but Al Jefferson is "Big Al"
Al Harrington is also called 'Big Al'.hova- wrote:NBA.com put up his Top 10 plays and I think he had a pair of nice blocks.

stop making me laugh

Just because he had a couple of nice blocks in his highlight reel doesn't mean he's a good defender. Even I could make Nate Robinson look like mini-Ben Wallace with some highlight reels.
As for his defense in the European Championship, I hope Matt's post answers it.

Exactly, you even said in your first post that you searched around and found them

No D sounds like his name is Steve Kerr. But actually there is no difference between Dirk and the average defending Forward in this league. Got me ?

Dwight Howard is not like other young men who are only 20. The NBA star, who has already played two seasons as a power forward/center for the Orlando Magic wants to change the image of the NBA. He also wants to live out his Christian faith, live a pure life, and help people who have needs.
Howard, nicknamed "The Man Child," skipped college to join the NBA right out of his high school - Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy. In his first season in 2004, he averaged 12 points per game and 10 rebounds. In his second season he averaged 15.8 points per game, to go along with 12.5 rebounds. In 2005, his second season, he was second in the league in rebounds per game and first in total rebounds at 1022. He was also the first player who played in all 82 games for his team after coming right out of high school.

so if you think that listing or copy/pasting outdated nicknames makes you better, I give you: Steve "Snapper" Jones, Wilt "The Stilt" (And "The Big Dipper") Chamberlain, and Bob Cousy who was "The Houdini of the Hardwood". I win.
