Cavaliers lose to Celtics because of awful call at 1.9 sec?

Not that it really matters, and i didn't get to watch this game or the "foul" but Paul Pierce didn't play either.
Opinions are my own.

Tendonitis is a real bitch, I'm not suprised he sat.

Garnett has tendonitis in his knee but he still plays...even with his club pretty much out of playoff contention. If the game was as big as the original poster said it was I would think Lebron would play. No?

It really depends on the severity of the injury. I know from experience that tendonitis can be as little as a slight bruise feeling that becomes virtually unnoticable whle playing (once you get warm), to a severe pain in the knee where you can't bend it while putting weight on it. When its like that you can't do anything basketball wise. I'm not saying LeBron has a severe case of it, but I do know that if you play on it when you first hurt it, it will have a negative effect in the long run. If he just developed it recently and he was able to play, he may have asked to sit (especially with Pierce out) so he can ait a few days for it to heal instead of going out there and making it worse = longer healing time.

As for Garnett, he's tough, but it may also be a slight pain that he figures is worth paying through because he will not have to worry about the playoffs. That leaves plenty of time to heal over the off season, as fully blown tendonitis usually takes 6-8 weeks of virtually no running/jumping. Personally, if Garnetts tendonitis is bad, I think it is a stupid decision to play and make it worse. Then again he probably wouldn't sit till they are officially eliminated.

I've had tendinitis in my knees and it does vary in severity. Sometimes I was able to play through the pain, other times I could not even jump if my life depended on it. It was the shittiest time for me basketball-wise.
