At first i was pretty skeptical about TVU dropping O-TSN. But this new ViperTV is much better. Will deffinitly show one if not two matches a day. Sopcast ain't quite on par with TVU. TVU's average stream is much smoother for starters, and the range of games is much broader on Sopcast. The only instance i'd recommend Sopcast is when for some strange reason TVU is unavailable. Looking forward to the lakers and suns tomorrow.

Sopcast does skip occasionally, but it has more sports channels than TVU as of right now. The TVU broadcast has alot better picture and is smoother, but they don't have ESPN, NBATV or TNT anymore.

While you may be right, TVU does not have the 'stand alone' NBATV, ESPN & TNT channels. The new ViperTV channel picks up majority of them when it has too.

Indeed, just hit the NBA Guide on TVU and you should get links to NBA games.

I watched the Miami vs Detroit game on TVU.

tvu is really good for nba games, if you browse through the channels there are often a few games on at any one time, if you have a fast-ish connection, you can get them to run smooth like a normal tv

I guess that's my problem, i have the slowest possible connection for broadband. TVU didn't work except for the low channels.

Go to the link weltmann posted. Then click "Play" on the grid where TVU and Viper TV meet. It will open TVU player and connect to the channel. If you get an error, VIPER TV is off the air at the moment. I checked the other day and saw a portion of game. I checked yesterday and Viper TV wasn't even on the channel list. I hope it isn't off the air for good.

I ended up watching a feed from the US on SopCast. It's the first time I've done that though so I'm not sure how often they have the local broadcast available.

That game was over in the third quarter anyways, why would you have wanted to watch it?

You should have watched the Pacers-Jazz game, at least it took us untill the 4th quarter to go down 20.

Do you forget I'm a Shaq fan? Watching him play well is something you can't always look forward to these days.

24 points, 9 boards & 8 assists? Dreamgame.

Wow thats a great line.

Sopcast is straight. Watch some football matches and stuff on it every now and then and its pretty good quality. I should get into the NBA watching on it now considering it never occured to me to look for games.
