This is what I was expecting for, you now must grab the 3rd win too to make things easier later.

Parker is really stepping up in the playoffs.. CPU just loves the Spurs.. I simmed a season and the Spurs were 77-5, had a 59 game winning streak.. It will be hard, so you have to take the next game at Staples..

Sacke12, Yeah, getting Odom back was really useful...

S.R.N.O, Oh yeah, he was great on both, offensive and defensive sides...

ReMix, Hope I can finish the Spurs early... Thanks for the comment..

Marquis, I'll bring the recap soon, you'll see if I did it..

Pr1kolaz, Oh yeah, forgot to talk about that, thanks for the reminder..

-km-, Yeah Parker and Lamar are looking very, very impresive in the playoffs, actually I didn't expect that...

Thanks for the comments guys, Game 4 is going to be updated very soon...

Lakers lead 3-1

The Los Angeles Lakers won for the second straight time against San Antonio. Lakers now lead the series 3-1.
Lakers were losing only by four after the first quarter, though they won the second by seven to get the lead heading into the second half.
Lakers started off powerfully and very fast. They extended their 3 point lead to ten in the first two minutes and were doing very well throughout the quarter. Though, both teams suffered some losses in the third period. Tyrus Thomas collided Michael Finley while driving to the basket and both players suffered injuries. As later reported, Finley will be out for 5 days, Thomas will be out for 7 weeks. If the Lakers make the NBA finals, Thomas will not appear there and won’t help his team. Though Michael Finley should only miss the next game(if it’s not his last one, this season). Lakers won the third quarter, led by Lamar Odom who collected a triple-double. Lakers were leading by thirteen, entering the last quarter.
No one could revive the Spurs. Most of the starters were playing miserable and couldn’t help the team well enough. While Spurs were sleeping, Kobe, Lamar and Smush were making a show. In the middle of the quarter after a couple astonishing dunks, Lakers were leading by 26. Only then Spurs started showing some comeback signs, but it was too late and they couldn’t anything more, than cut the lead down to 19.
The next game will be played in San Antonio. Spurs will miss Michael Finley, Lakers Tyrus Thomas. Lakers need only one more win to advance to the NBA finals, Spurs need three.

Tim Duncan started the big 18-0 run in the third quarter, scoring all of his 10 points in that period…

Box Scores

Spurs-120

Lakers lead 3-2

The Los Angeles Lakers lost after winning two in a row against the San Antonio Spurs.
Lakers started the game better and had a seven point lead after the first one, but relaxed in the second and paid the price by loosing it by 13 for a 6 point deficit heading into the second half.
Lakers had a very strong start by cutting down the lead very quickly and scoring 16 of their 21 points in the first four minutes. But then it all collapsed as Spurs’ Duncan started the major 18-0 run to take back the lead. Lakers were doing pathetically on defense and their offense wasn’t working at all. They somehow managed to add a few more points at the last minutes of the quarter, but Spurs added some more to their lead and ended the third period leading by 17 points.
Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom tried to bring their team back, but it was hopeless because of the perfect shooting by Ginobili, Parker and Barry. They couldn’t stop their jumpshots no matter what. Spurs stopped Lakers successfully and even added some more points to their lead. Making this a blow-out win and bringing the hopes back.
Next game, 6th, will be played in Los Angeles and Lakers will have the chance to close this series and make to the finals.

Detroit Pistons proved to Carter-less Nets that they are stronger and eliminated them 4-1 and made the finals. They’re currently waiting for their opponent, it might be either L.A Lakers or San Antonio Spurs.

The Spurs got nothing to lose and celebrated the easy victory here. You must win at home now, I don't want that the series would turn to 3:3. Good luck

Lakers win 4-2

The Los Angeles Lakers celebrate a series-winning win against San Antonio Spurs and now have the ticket to the NBA finals for the first time since 3 years.
Spurs played the first half only slightly better than L.A.. They managed to build a 3 point lead, ending the first half.
Lakers’ Kwame Brown was leading the team in the third quarter with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Though Spurs won it by 3. Manu Ginobili started off hot, but foul trouble forced him to sit down. This even more helped the Spurs as Brent Barry who substituted Ginobili was even better. He poured in 13 points in the third period and with the help of Tim Duncan Spurs were feeling very comfortable. But Maurice Evans substituted the foul-troubled Smush Parker and provided Lakers 6 points, 5 assists and two steals before getting injured. Kobe then took control of the game and cut down Spurs’ lead to 6 with one minute to go, but none of the teams could score anymore points and Spurs were going to the last quarter with a six point lead.
Kobe started the quarter very strong by banging a trey and making a powerful dunk seconds later. He fired up the team, Lamar Odom had a big quarter with 13 points. Kwame again helped a lot defensively. Other Lakers joined and the team was going all the way up. Until Tony Parker started his one-man-show. He led the team almost alone, scoring 18 points in the quarter. With the help of other Spurs Parker managed to take his team above Lakers again. But when it all came down to the last minute, Kobe took the lead for Lakers with a jumpshot, leaving Spurs 49 seconds. Then both teams couldn’t take anything from their attacks and Spurs had only 20 seconds left to score. Parker took the leadership role, by going inside for a tough layup and a single point lead for his team. Then it looked that Kobe’s gonna be the Lakers’ winning key, but when he drove to the basket he stopped and made the extra pass to his team-mate Lamar Odom for an open game-winning layup, leaving Spurs 8 seconds. A few seconds after they got the ball they lost it and then Walton was fouled, he made 1-2 ft’s and Lakers celebrated.

Lakers became the 2007 Western Conference champions and now will be heading to the NBA Finals…
