Man There's 6 seconds left and were not gonna win now, but we came pretty close towards the end. Score (im guessing wont change) is 113-108 and the 2 big stories are Melo and Nene. First of all Melo with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for a tripple double Also only 3 TO's, other news in Nene stepping up in the absence of Camby (don't know where he is) with 27 points. Jr also with 18 and shot over 50 %!
In Suns news Amare with 36 points and 13 boards, Nash shut down with 9 points and 7 assists.
But in the end we didn't win and that's what matters... :(

Much improvement against probably the best side in the league. Without Camby and Iverson im quite happy with the production, looks like we made some progress at least.

watching the Nuggs since the AI trade.....well, they just dont look good. Apart from Camby & Blake, the pieces around AI and Melo don't fit. Obviously facing Dallas, Phx or SAS = 1st rnd exit. Best chance is to go to 5th and face Utah, but they are 7 games behind Houston.

Nope man, its same story as last year, we get in, and we get out in first round, AI won't do a shit with the rest of the team playing like they have since Melo's comeback.

Screw this, if the Nuggets have another first round exit i think im done following them as a team. I almost quit supporting the team before Melo arrived back in 03 so if something like that will happen again then i think my Nuggets support is going down the drain. Years of winless seasons and finally we get a descent squad together and we start losing piss easy games, i take all my comments back saying that they still need time to gell, this team is a disaster right now and im losing interest.

Ill still support the Nuggets but they might not remain my #1 team unless they start and turn this around. If they miss the playoffs this team is totally doomed.

Haha, this is ridiculous. What great ''fans'' those are who stop supporting their team because it's on a loosing streak...

By the way, I know that AI himself decided to score less and let Melo get more shots and possibly the scoring title BUT I really think it should be the other way around simply for the reason that Iverson is the better and more efficient scorer. I don't care if he gets another scoring title or not but when it comes to carrying a team that's in a difficult situation I don't think there's anyone that could do it better than AI. He's got more experience, more toughness and most of all more heart than Carmelo.

I never said i wasnt going to support them. I said im done following them. Im not gonna bother checking on the scores or anything they just frustrate me.

You dont understand, we are losing to teams like the Hornets, Bobcats and Blazers if we cant beat them then it is over.

By the way, I know that AI himself decided to score less and let Melo get more shots and possibly the scoring title BUT I really think it should be the other way around simply for the reason that Iverson is the better and more efficient scorer. Carmelo is the number 1 option on offense. Do you think the Nuggets will make their 22 year old star the future of this team unhappy just to please an aging 31 year old veteran. I dont think so, unless you want to see even worse losses to even worse teams.

you know what's worse than losing to crappy teams? winning 54 games in a season, only to have the 6th best record in the East and getting your ass kicked in the 1st round. Detroit Pistons 96/97.

Of course they won't do it because Carmelo is their future. But it's not about pleasing Iverson, that part of your post doesn't make sense. Right now I don't think AI bothers about scoring, the only thing that's on his mind is winning, no matter how. All I said was that Iverson should be the number one option not because that'd please him (because he doesn't care about scoring as I already said) but because he's the better leader, period. In my opinion with AI leading the team they'd have a better record. It's not about pleasing him or any of that bullshit, it's simply about success.

But who am I to care all that much. I think I'll just lay back and relax and watch Iguodala shine.

I know what you mean. Im just not sure how Melo would accept that, after all he is the captain. I just hope these guys can turn it around cos if they dont our future is screwed (missing out on the best draft). Ill still support them but i cant follow them right now i dont know how anyone can...

Melo finally got his All-Star game, now he can stop crying and concentrate on putting up points and making game winners.

Denver fans, even you have to admit the refs were absolutely awful tonight. That was a disgrace.

I kinda missed the part when Carlisle got ejected, what did he do? But Armstrongs actions were low, good he got kicked out.

Great W, finally we get a good 4th quarter, Kleiza 15 points yeaaa!!!

Rick got thrown out after JO flopped and they didn't call it. Reggie Evans got that call twice in the first half, so that's what Rick said. Joe Crawford and his refs were talking back to the Pacers today. Joe was hurling insults at Rick, and Rick flipped out on him.

I admit Darrell overreacted a little bit, but he was upset because he was just calmly talking to the ref, and explaining to him that when Jeff gets pulled to the floor, its not actually a foul on Jeff, believe it or not. He didn't believe it and started disrespecting DA. Darrell freaked.
