Series tied at 2-2
The Los Angeles Lakers celebrate their first victory after losing twice in a row to the Phoenix Suns. Now the series are tied at 2-2.
Lakers were a little slower in the first and lost it by 6, but fired up in the second and ended the first half with a 2 point lead.
Lakers weren’t hot in the third, neither were Suns. Both teams had slow starts missing several shots at the beginning and lacking offensive success. But Kobe got his team back in the middle of the quarter, so did Steve Nash. Both players were playing extremely good, but Kobe had to step it up more, cause Odom collected his 5th at the beginning of the quarter. Lakers managed to hold off Suns and held a 6 point lead entering the last period.
Brian Cook was the hero of the quarter. He was successful at the end of the quarter pouring in 6 points in the last minute for the tie. He collected 12 in the last period. Though it wasn’t looking that good for the Lakers at the beginning of the quarter, cause the lost their lead early and were suffering a 8-10 point deficit all the time. Until Kobe and Cook(substituted for Odom who collected his 6th foul in the middle of the quarter) got their team back and started cutting down the deficit. Brown joined them and Lakers were able to go to overtime.
Smush Parker shifted in the overtime period. He posted 5 assists and 9 points. Suns were fouling very often, they collected 8 fouls in the overtime period, Lakers got 16 points from them, not missing a single of them. Suns couldn’t execute offensively and were forced to give up.
Kobe Bryant was amazing all game long, collected 41 points, 6 boards and assists, 1 steal and a couple of blocks. Brian Cook added 18 points off the bench, Parker posted 13 points and 9 assists. Amare Stoudemire led the team with 36 points and 16 boards, Nash finished with 29 points and 12 assists, Diaw posted 22 points and 9 rebounds.

Suns lead 3-2
The Los Angeles Lakers lost to Phoenix Suns after the last overtime win. Suns now lead the series 3-2.
No one played particularly well in the first quarter, but Suns won it by two. Though they couldn’t extended their lead in the second and ended the second quarter with a tie.
Suns had a very strong third quarter start pouring in 10 points in the first two minutes, Lakers answered by 5. Suns continued their successful offensive performance till the middle of the quarter and extended their lead to twelve. Lakers Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom then surprisingly fast, in 3 minutes achieved a 15-3 run and got their team back in the game. Lakers then played equally to Suns and no-one could take a bigger than a two point lead. Until Steve Nash made a three-pointer with 40 second to go in the quarter. Lakers didn’t answer successfully and Shawn Marion finished the third period with a monstrous dunk.
Lakers’ Lamar Odom got his team to a quick start as they regained the lead after two minutes from the start. Lakers extended it to 6 and held it four more minutes, until Nash made two treys in a row. But Kobe didn’t give up. He pulled his team back with a strong performance, 15 points in the last quarter. But when it all came down to the last couple of minutes it was all about Shawn Marion and Amare Stoudemire. They denied Lakers four times in a row(twice each) and Marion deleted Lakers’ lead. With the help of Steve Nash Marion was leading his team to victory. Kobe had one more chance to win the game in the last minute, but the defense of Raja Bell and Shawn Marion left no hope…

Good luck, I say!

Man, f**kin' Raja Bell!!!
Tough loss, now it's gonna be hard to come back, Suns really played great teamwork...
Good luck, 'cause now you can't loose...

Ah no ! The Suns are really strong. When Marion and Amare contribute, it seems like you aint got any chances. Actually Lamar and Kobe are your only threads. Smush was doin well, but too inconsistently. I hope you bounce back and have the luck you need when it comes down to the last one !
Sun Feb 04, 2007 6:27 am
Ouch... Tough losses. Win Game 6 and force a Game 7! You came this far, don't blow it here!
Sun Feb 04, 2007 6:48 am
King_Lebron, :lo: thanks for the tip..
Pr1kolaz, Thanks, I hope so too..
Sacke12, Yeah I didn't even expect such a resistance from the Suns..Thanks btw...
~=The Game=~, Yeah Steve Nash was a big part of their shit, I'd like to kill him... Thanks...
hova-, The biggest part of this loss was that I was blocked 4 times in the last minutes, it's just unbelievable..
Lamrock13, I hope I won't..
As always thanks for the comments guys, glad you like my dynasty and always check it!

Series tied at 3-3
The Los Angeles Lakers tie the series against Phoenix Suns in L.A.
Lakers played well, but Suns were right behind in the first quarter, which they lost by three, but won the second by 6 for their own 3 point lead entering the second half.
Lakers started poorly answering only by 5 to Suns’ 12 points in the first two minutes. But those were only the bad minutes, the rest of the quarter was going point by point for the Lakers. Suns’ Boris Diaw looked the only player playing on the court for them, while for the Lakers it was everyone. Kobe Bryant posted 15 points for his team against the miserable Suns’ defense. Jordan Farmar came off the bench and added 8 points with 2 steals in the third period. Odom also contributed well with 14 points. Lakers were controlling the game all quarter long and achieved a 15-2 run at the end of it, for a 12 point lead entering the last quarter.
Nash and Boris Diaw combined a deadly due in the last period. Nash was passing, Diaw was scoring. Other Suns contributed as well, but more on the defensive side. Smush Parker was leading the Lakers throughout the first five minutes of the quarter. Suns were looking hot, but Lakers were still in the game holding a fragile 3 point lead, the first five minutes. Nash then tied it with a deep trey. But Kobe got back to the court and answered with a three-point play. Then teams were going point by point till the last minute. Lakers were leading by one and then Kwame Brown achieved a two-point play for a three-point lead. Suns quickly lost the ball and Kobe poured in another three points. Suns couldn’t execute offensively anymore and gave up another two points and suffered a loss.
