He's shooting the same pct. downtown as Gilbert Arenas then, who has taken 50 more than anyone else in the entire league. In fact, only 2 players who have taken more 3-point attempts than Smith have a higher pct. than him (Luther Head .444 & Raja Bell .418), wheras the seven others are all shooting at a lower clip.

I think J.R could take fewer shots from behind the line....

He is a part of the team....

Yeah but its his specialty. 39% isn't bad at all, the best Reggie Miller ever shot was 43% so it's not like he's not making his shots.

When you're shooting ten a game at around 40% you're still making 4+ a game or so, which isn't too bad, but i also would like him to cut down...
But hey George gave him the green light and he's making the most of it.

Ahhh Damn it! We lost 116-111 to Jazz and ended our 5 game streak Melo, AI and Camby stared but other than that everyone else didn't do much.... Melo with 37 points, AI with 33 points and Camby with 21, the rest of the team combined for 20... And JR only took 1 shot for the whole game  Anyway i really wanted to beat Utah :(

Next up NJ...

Blame Carmelo for the loss, he had a 2v1 break with AI vs Harpring I think, he took it all the way, airballed the lay up, caught it and was called for traveling, instead of giving to AI and holding off Harpring. Then at 30 tics, outta double team he tried to run it and hit the ball off of his leg, Nene screwed up a shitload of times, bad ending to the game, we gotta play better vs NJ.

Terrible shooting from Melo and Iverson today in result we lose to the Nets. As long as the bad games get out of the way now while the chemistry is building im not to fussed. Melo is still rusty and adjusting to this new Nuggets team, Iverson is running point for the first time with the Nuggets. Even tho the players have gelled quite well it shows they arent so tight when they vs stronger teams. Two bad losses but i hope they bounce back with 2 strong wins.

Its gonna take at least 10 to 15 games for us to become a proper unit, if you expect the team to just turn into top 5 team with just 4 games with AI and Melo then your dreaming. Once this team has got some descent plays and learn how to use everyone then the losses should stop. In the meanwhile i dont care if they lose now not until the team has some games under their belt then they have no excuse.

I'm a bit with Anthony15 on this one  Yes they need a little time to get used to each other and everything, BUT it's getting to the business end of the season and they need to improve, with the team they've got they're not performing up to scratch imo, they post big first qtrs and play horrible for the next couple, unless one of our players catch fire... They're professionals and of course they'll find a way to work with each other, but they'd better hurry, before it get's to late...

lol...not really, we lost to Charlotte, wtf? I saw some highlights, Anthony only got 25, dumb move going against 3 Cats' to go up 103-102, gets blocked by Wallace, meh we better get on a W streak, or Mavs/Suns await us in 1st round of playoffs.

yeah i just saw the highlights of another crappy loss and to Charlotte!
Iverson seemed to play pretty well 31 off 10-15 FG%, we cant manage to have a consistant couple of games with a few wins and losses, it's either winning streak or losing streak, and atm it's a 3 game losing streak

I know the teams defense is pretty bad but atm the offense is just as worse, The FG% are becoming a joke, only Iverson shot a descent FG%. Melo, JR and Camby all shot terrible hence why we lost. We should of won that game.

Ive gone off the Nuggets for the moment. I dont mind them losing to stronger teams but losing to Portland and Charlotte is unexceptable. They should be getting it together soon especially against the weaker teams.

That's funny cause i was going to say the exact same thing, but decided not to at the last minute, cause i didn't want to turn my back (not that you are) but really they way they are playing it's just hard to follow them, cause theres just no point when your playing that bad.... :(

and to make matters worse Carmelo didn't even make the All Star team :x :x :x

Im not surprised Melo didnt make it, he got suspended for fighting their not gonna reward him with an allstar spot. At least Iverson made it. I cant follow the Nuggets while they play like this either, its not the Nuggets i came to love i mean hell they could at least beat easy teams like Bobcats and the Blazers. The Iverson trade isnt that satisfying atm.

Phew...finally we win...Blake did great in OT, even though he could've finished it with FT's in regulation. Melo 33, Nene 20, Blake 19 and 14  JR off the bench with 17, good win, gotta do same things at Sacramento and break the damn losing streak we've had in Cali's capital since 97.

Nene better start earning his 60 mill contract and it starts with games like this, i dont understand why he hasnt started for ages he plays a lot better when he starts. Hopefully he can continue to put up solid numbers. Melo is still shooting poorly 11-26 isnt him he is more like 15-26.

Shit we lost, well no shit we'll lose if Melo only puts up 20, good to see the double double from Nene, but nontheless its a loss.

Iverson needs to return with a big game to boost the confidence of the team and why is Kouba starting?? the lineups dont make much sense atm i mean Karl should of started Nene along time back, Smith should be starting also i think Blake will play much better off the bench.

My lineup would be

PG - Iverson (He needs to get used to this role JR isnt going to be playing off the bench his whole life)
SG - JR Smith(Plays better as a starter and needs to be welcomed and accepted if hes rejected then he turns to shit
SF - Melo (no brainer)
PF - Nene (Plays better as a starter look at his recent numbers should have been starting from his return if you ask me)
C - Camby (No brainer)

Thats gonna be our playoff lineup i would imagine and Kouba or Evans shouldnt be starting, they bring energy off the bench.
