Warriors would probably have made the 7th 8th spot but for the injuries.....Davis, Richardson, Murhpy, Diogu, Pietrus, Ellis.

It's like the Warriors are always suffering multiple injuries every season. Cursed....But Davis is back and is putting up pretty good numbers. Pietrus is wearing the mask and is still consistent. Patrick is out but his absence isn't really making a difference. Ellis is their main concern and J.R. is second.

I think the Warriors will be ok. I think the T-wolves are going to fall off a little bit in the second half of the season, and the way things are going for the Hornets, they may not have any players left by season's end. The only other concern the Warriors might have is the Clippers who have won 3 straight now, and are talented enough to get back in the playoff picture. At the same token though, both the Clips and Warriors might make it in, as I wouldn't be surprised at all to see T-mac go down with another injury in the next few games. The Rockets might end up falling out of contention.

I dont think J-Rich is the main concern for the Warriors right now, but it sucks to see him out. I've never seen this many injuries in the NBA before. I thought the Hornets could legitimately win 50 games with their potent lineup, but now every single good player they have is injured. Go figure.

Here's just some of the best players off the top of my head that are injured ....

Wade
Shaq
Peja
CP3
J-Rich
Bosh
Rashard Lewis
Hinrich
Ellis
Yao
Kristic
David West
Billups
Pierce
Odom

I'm sure there are a lot more...

What makes this injury seem even worse is the fact that Richardson hasn't even recovered from his knee surgery yet. I hate to see the guy struggle like that and look so sluggish, especially since he's one of my favs in the league.
