Anyone catch the Nets/Cavaliers game on ESPN? LeBron was wearing a sleeve.. WTF?.. is it 4 Carmelo cause he's suspended?..

Hmm, good idea. I have never seen him wear a sleeve and Carmelo is a good friend of his so I think it probably is for Melo. Pretty cool thing to do, alot like people who wear the numbered wristbands of injured teammates.

It'd be stupid if he wore it for Carmelo. It's like the rappers wearing "FREE ____" shirts, when the dude is locked up for a valid reason.

I didnt hear what's going on with the sleeve. But this idea he got from jason kidd i believe just this year. One wrist represents his mom, the other represents his girlfriend/baby's momma....its to help him focus and relax while at the FT line in order to hopefully increase his percentage.

they were talking about this during the game last night. imo its kinda lame but whatever. if a player in the nba needs a gimmick to hit a free throw then more power to them. i think a good gimmick would be actually practicing them, but thats just me.

hey i'm just repeating what the announcers said. Maybe Lebron is all sports psychologist influenced now, who knows? Sauru, practice is completely different from a game and you know it. Alot of people need a little something to calm them down ...after a hard foul or an intense game for example...to keep them focused. I say more power to him if he wants to show love to his family and they keep him calm enough to help his FT %...now when his FT % goes down you'll start to wonder...

yeh- i think it was in the 3rd game of the year he started doing this. James was shooting ~60% from the line at the time

he's gotten better but for someone that goes to the line almost 10 times a game, 72% doesn't cut it

yeah i just noticed he was wearing a sleeve on SportsCenter and then during the Pistons Cavs game. Melo and Wade wear one and he completes the trio, so why not
