Steve Nash can't dunk. In his 1st charity game, he tried like 5 times, but came up short.

With a pic like that, I don't think so.

Seriously. That must be the gayest sig I've ever seen. Good thing he's gone.

On topic: I seriously doubt Earl Boykins can dunk a basketball. He might be able to get rim but that's completely different.

Earl Boykins cant dunk, he is 5-5 and he has said many times he cant dunk it. The only way i remember him dunking was grabbing onto the net and pulling himself up and slamming it, tho he did it quite quick and it used to look like a proper dunk. I dont think his verticle is that big but he sure as hell is fast.

Can Yao Ming dunk without jumping? I can't remember how much he can reach jumping, haven't seen a rockets game in a while.

FYI Muggsy could dunk.

Listen people, dunking is not that hard. I live in podunk Idaho and I know a kid who is 5'5" and can dunk it. He just throws himself an oop, and catches it with one hand and throws it down. I'm 5'11 and could dunk in high school. It's just all about timing. It is not that damn hard.

Jordan Farmar?

Farmar is like 6'2, plus he has a 42 inch vertical. No doubt he can dunk.

Christopherson, is there anyway you could prove he can dunk? Like any links to articles or something like that? I would be extremely surprised if he could dunk. He would need to be able to jump higher than Spud Webb, which I doubt.

I read in a book that he could dunk a tennis ball, not a basketball.

haha... "FYI" means "for your information".

Mugsy Bogues was a very short player (5'3'' I think) in the NBA during the 90's.

Yeah Scorer-20, he was in space jam...one of my fave NBA players of all time. I started watching the NBA when Mugsey, Larry Johnson, and Zo were on the hornets and it was amazing.

I'd put my money on every single player in the NBA being able to dunk. You have to be of an athletic standard to play in the NBA. Everybody can atleast jump (even the players who are unathletic in the NBA are probably more athletic than you). And players who are unathletic are usually tall enough to grab the rim anyway.

Steve Nash is athletic. Plus he's 6'3". He'd definetly be able to dunk. Players who are shorter than 6' in the nba usually have a crazy amount of athleticsm to make up for their lack of height anyway. Boykins can dunk i've read, Mugsy could dunk. We all know Nate can dunk.

BTW, whoever said Jordan Farmar has a 42 inch vert is mistaken. No way he does. I'd say more between 25 and 30. Maybe a tad more if lucky.

I have read it in plenty of places and if you go back and watch some of his UCLA games you can see he has quite a bit of spring in him. I seriously doubt its his "true" vertical though, and his no step vertical is probably considerably lower, but still far above average.

Wikipedia wrote:Farmar impressed NBA scouts at the pre-draft combine with a 42-inch vertical leap that was the highest of any player there.

Tony Parker can't dunk.
During thegame against Maccabiin France,he stole the ball and dribbled all the way to the basket, stopped, and to try showing the french audience some good shit from their superstar,he attempted a dunk, the ball was bumped into the rim,and Parker fell and had backaches for like 3 minutes. XD

Shi, that doesnt mean he CANT, that just means he misexecuted that one time....there is a big difference between being able to and one example of a fuckup. Larry bird missed a shot, it doesnt mean he couldnt shoot does it?...and doing it from a standstill would be hard for anyone
