Only thing I can think of:
Make the final score more eyecatching and maybe at the top, it looks kind of awkward right after the recap.

Nice game by Posey, I guess it was worth to trade for him

Thomas tried to bring the team back, but was unsuccessful…

Box Scores
Lakers-95
76ers-105

The Los Angeles Lakers have lost their last matchup in December, ending the 2006 year. They still stand 1st in pacific and 3rd in conference.
Lakers started more successfully by ending the first quarter with the result in their favor. They continued the good job in the second as they outscored Sixers by 4 and held a 5 point lead after the first two.
But it all changed in the third. Lakers were looking solid at the beginning of the quarter, they extended their lead to 8 with 5 minutes on the clock, but when Kobe, Lamar and Smush left the court, it all suddenly changed. Allen Iverson started cutting down the lead point by point. And there were nothing left with 3 minutes on the clock, then he fired up and chipped in 12 points in 2 minutes and left the court to rest a little. He poured in 19 point in the third quarter. Lakers managed to down the deficit to 8 points at the end of the third period.
Lakers weren’t good at the start of the last period, missed a couple of shots, Sixers extended their lead to 11. But Tyrus Thomas got back to the court and stunned everybody scoring all of his 11 points and playing outstanding defense. He cut into the lead, Sixers were leading only by 2 points with 2 minutes to go. But Iverson did it again. He chipped in 7 fast points and Lakers were unable to answer quickly. They were outscored once again and ended the year with a loss…

Nice win over the Cats, extremely good allround game by Odom and big scoring by Kobe. But Iverson killed you vs the 76ers, actually he always does kill you in the game I noticed in my season opener.

The Los Angeles Lakers have beaten Denver Nuggets in a thriller and now stand third in Western Conference.

He scored 16 points in the last quarter and forced an overtime. He also dished 3 assists in the last period. Lakers Lamar was holding the team not to lose in the last seconds as he hit two clutch free-throws, but they were destroyed by Boykins, he nailed a buzzer-beating lay-up.
