The Los Angeles Lakers lost Houston Rockets, but still sit 1st in pacific.
Lakers started the game successfully by gaining a 4 point lead after the first. Though they weren’t good in the second as in the first, Rockets played good defense and allowed Lakers to score only 12 points, while they put in 28 and held a 12 point lead after the first half.
Lakers started the 3rd poorly, they couldn’t stop Rockets who were completely controlling the boards and scoring point by point. Lakers looked desperate, when Smush got his 5th foul, Odom 4th and Thomas his 4th. But Kobe wasn’t in the mood for loosing, as he scored 10 points in a few minutes and Lakers got back to the game. Then Jordan Farmar started his show. First of all stealing two balls and putting in 4 easy points, cutting down Houston’s lead to 4. And minutes later scoring 6 points in a row. But Rockets didn’t gave up and got back the lead at the end of the quarter by nailing 3 treys.
When Lamar got the on the floor in the 4th, seconds later he collected his 5th foul, but Jackson kept him on the floor. It was a good decision, considering he scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in the 4th. Kobe and Kwame were leading the pulling the team, but McGrady and Alston were really hard to stop. When Smush got back on the floor Lakers were having a 5 point deficit, with 1:35 on the clock. Kobe made a three, and it looked that Lakers are going to take back the lead, but when the game reached it’s culmination, Lakers were unable to make important shots and lost.

A bit late, but congrats on the victory against league leaders Spurs. Oh and a tough loss against Rockets, unlucky end of the game.

Sat Nov 25, 2006 10:25 pm

hey man, just a suggestion... you could put the final score somewhere in bold on your recap for some of us it takes a long time to wait for the boxscores to load... just a suggestion...

Sun Nov 26, 2006 3:04 am

Marquis, Thanks man...

pacers4eva, K, not a problem at all, for me...

Guys, I wanted to say that I played a game against Mavs(in Dallas), and won it with an overtime. The recap was ready with all the pictures in one folder, but I accidentally mixed it up and moved it to recycle bin and deleted. I was shocked when I realized that I did. So no recap vs Dallas, sorry  All I can say that Smush putted in 32, Kobe somewhere near 23...
The result 132:128(OT)
Sorry once again guys, I hope I'll never repeat such mistakes :(

Sun Nov 26, 2006 3:13 am

Thats a curse! Next time, don't dare to win against Dallas

Sun Nov 26, 2006 4:06 am

You wish

Sun Nov 26, 2006 4:56 am

At first tough loss vs the Rockets, T-Mac really feeling it.

That is really bad that you deleted the recap, since it seems that this was a very intresting game (high scoring, Smush breaking out, and for sure my man Dirk in it ;) ), but hey shit happens.

Sun Nov 26, 2006 5:04 am

Oh, I totally forgot, Dirk chipped in 35...

The Los Angeles Lakers have celebrated a revenge against Rockets in Staples Center, and now sit 1st in pacific, 3rd in conference.
The teams played equal in the first and finished with a result 20:20, but Rockets broke out in the second, as they outscored Lakers by 12 points.
Rockets started the third unsuccessfully, as Lakers chipped in 10 points without an answer from their opponents, but they weren’t silent long. Shane Battier started dunking all over place, few minutes later, Rockets got back their 10 point lead. Lakers were feeling desperately, but didn’t gave up. Maurice Evans substituted for Kobe and putted up 9 points to the basket, Lakers had only a 3 point deficit with 2 minutes on the clock. But Rockets’ Alston wanted to finish strong, so he did. He poured in 7 points in a row, Wells added 5 in only 2 minutes and Rockets finished the 3rd quarter with a 15 point lead.

But Lakers’ Kwame Brown unveiled him all, he grabbed 11 rebounds in the last quarter. He collected 23 in total. Lakers were playing good defense, at the same time outstanding offense. Big part of this offense was Kobe, who had a rocky beginning, but shot successfully in the second half. He chipped in 12 points in the last quarter, Thomas added 7. Lakers finished off Rockets with a 12-0 run in the last 2 minutes and won the game.

Nice win over the Rockets, sweet revenge.
Kobe did very well in the 2nd half and you were able to keep T-Mac below 30.
And the Sonics are looking to move a SG ? I hope they do not trade Allen, although that would be a blockbuster move.

Sun Nov 26, 2006 6:32 am

Amazing 4th quarter, you did a nice job to revenge for the previous loss.

And about the suggestions, I would be glad if you do main recap text a little bigger in size. Because now it is 9 size I guess and it's sometimes pretty difficult to read. I think 11 would be good

Sun Nov 26, 2006 6:46 am

hova-, Thanks, about that trade, After getting the message about rumor feedback, I simulated two days and Sonics sent me an offer Johan Petro for Luke Walton, I didn't accepted that. Petro isn't a SG and he's off topic completely, but I'm just telling this intresting fact. Now why I didn't accept it? First of all, I have Kwame, Bynum and Andriuskevicius, furthermore I want to keep Luke and I'm starting to think to trade Radmanovic, cause the further I go, the worse he plays. It may be he doesn't fit for my team in this dynasty or I can't use him properly, but It doesn't matter because I already put Thomas in the starting lineup and I'm searching a good player(don't know what position) to trade Radmanovic for. So maybe some of you guys could suggest me, what player should I ask for Radmanovic?

Marquis, Thanks man, Ok, I'll be doing it at 11 from now on... :)

Sun Nov 26, 2006 7:06 am

I suggest you to trade him to Miami for Posey. Do him PF, so Miami will accept the offer easier, Vlad even would be a starting PF, if Haslem is rated lower than him and Walker is at SF. Give them some filler and salaries will be equal. And Posey has an expiring contract (Y)

Sun Nov 26, 2006 7:20 am

Well, when it comes to trades, Marquis has the best ideas (although my Francis trade in 06 was very good, too ;) ) and I think this would be the right choice, bringing you an atheltic swingman who can actually shoot the ball, Posey is really a three point thread.

Sun Nov 26, 2006 7:44 am

Yeah, I like that, I think I'll try that, thanks Marquis...

First quarter ended in Lakers favor, they held a 4 point lead after that one. Wizards came back in the second outscoring Lakers by 3, but still not getting the lead.
Both teams struggled at the beginning of the third quarter, missed a couple of shots in a row, lost the ball few times. Linas Kleiza(DEN) on the trading block?

Sun Nov 26, 2006 8:41 am

Thomas is definitely a beast in the game. His speed/quickness is kinda high, thats why he is so good in the game.

I can't believe Nuggets gave up on Kleiza :[

Sun Nov 26, 2006 8:46 pm

Marquis, Yeah Thomas was doing really great for me...BTW about Kleiza, I saw other rumors about Denver talking with Boston, but I didn't research them, I think it's false, all in all I think Denver won't find anyone who want Kleiza, and will leave him on the team...

Sun Nov 26, 2006 8:49 pm

Nice win over the Wizards, although Arenas shot the lights out.
And I really like Tyrus Thomas. He is one of those players who can posterize defenders without being a FSS, that is cool :)

And 7 steals for Smush (Y)

I don´t know Kleiza too much, he is from Lithuania or why do you even mention him ? ;)
But I think I remember him being a beast at the glass.

Sun Nov 26, 2006 9:15 pm

hova-, Well Kleiza played pretty well against Germany in their last game against Lithuania :)

Sun Nov 26, 2006 9:21 pm

yeah, i think posey would be a good trade for Radmanovic and nice performance by Thomas (Y)

I remember Posey hitting two or three clutch treys in last year's finals, that's why I'm really excited on getting him...

Sun Nov 26, 2006 11:12 pm

Got to love those sweet young players causing havoc around the league :) Great game by Thomas.

Sun Nov 26, 2006 11:16 pm

Yeah you're absolutely right... I'm even thinking that Thomas might get the ROY this year...

The Los Angeles Lakers have celebrated a win in Chicago against the Bulls in a strong comeback in the last period. Currently they stand 3rd in conference, 1st in division.
First quarter ended in Chicago’s favor, second also. Bulls held a 5 point lead entering the second half.
Bulls continued to fight in the third quarter. They were struggling at rebounds, but their offense, especially Kirk Hinrich(30 points, 8 assists), was outstanding. [u]Bulls stole the ball several times in the first minutes of the third and were able to extend their lead to 9 points. Lamar Odom and Kobe Bryant pulled the team back and Lakers had an only 4 points deficit with 3 minutes on the clock. A minute later, Lakers downed it to 2, but Bulls’ Kirk Hinrich chipped in 5 points to extend the lead to 7 and end the quarter winning.
Lakers were sleepy at the beginning of the last period, as they missed 3 shots in a row and lost the ball two times. Bulls extended their lead to 12. Smush then decided to wake up his team, he dunked the ball a few times creating some momentum for Los Angeles. Then Maurice Evans and Kwame Brown joined him and they all three scored 19 points in half of the quarter. Inspired by such a performance by his team-mates, Tyrus Thomas started his defensive show. He rebounded the ball very well throughout the left minutes of the quarter and played outstanding defense by denying Bulls to extend their lead.
