You're right. The basketball world doesn't even know who John Stockton and Karl Malone are. Absolutely right, they never get recognised.

Sloan hasnt gotten coach of the year because he hasnt earned it yet

lol 19 years a good win loss record and leading a talent/injury depleted utah jazz team to 40 wins a season for 3 years and now leading the best team in the nba(record-wise) if the jazz win the regular season this year and sloan doesn't win coy, somethings seriously fucked up
PPL r a little feisty these days:D

nobody really cared about stockton and malone until they left utah, that's why i can't stand Bill Walton cause when malone palyed ofr the jazz everything was against the jazz but when he moved to LA, he was all for malone... But now they are recognized years after their careers are over with, or maybe they just released all of their highlights and people are recognizing them. i remember in december of 2003 SLAM wrote an article on stockton and ever since then i have been reading SLAm cause they know what's up!

Also I have been involved with the jazz administrarion. Sloan is a personal friend of mine and I do think that he deserves to be coach of the year this year. if he doesn't like my buddy said they system is screwed up. Also another good friend of the family, Raja Bell when he came to Utah and he was a great sixth man and he did't get recognized now that he's in phoenix everyone talks about how good he is.

I'm rooting for Sloan to get his first coach of the year award. As for the Jazz, they're getting recognition. There's a lot of talk about Deron nowadays, so if they keep up the winning ways, the media attention will only grow.

It looks like the Jazz's winning streak is coming to an end here against the Warriors. Matt Barnes is doing real good (as he usually doesn't get barely or any minutes at all) at this moment with 24 pts and 7 rbs.

4th back to back game this season. They Just didnt look like they had any energy and played sloppy. Next week the Jazz have the Spurs (wed) then the Lakers on TNT thursday, whoever makes the Schedules really sucks. O well I guess that just means less games and more rest later on.

Like I said earlier, the Warriors are gonna be a real sleeper this year. They have to MIP candidates in Biedrins and Ellis, and neither B Diddy nor Pietrus played in the game. The Jazz had been flirting with losses but kept coming back in other games... that's a lot harder to do on a back to back.

If the Warriors are Sleepers then Denver must be great seeing as we beat them twice in a row.

Camby is easily replaced atm by Joe Smith and Evans hes not a big factor really.

Back to the Jazz, What does this team need to help make them a championship contender, because although they are doing well in the season, the postseason is a different game and players at weak positions are exposed. I think a solid SG and if Kirelenko cant stay healthy then a solid backup SF who can start efficiently. Also some more talls coming from the bench and this team would be contending.

Honestly I don't like the way Kirilenko is playing he hasn't played up to his potential.. But other than that I think we need a solid SG, I mean Giricek can be solid, but right now he's in Sloan's dog house, much like Arroyo was a couple of years back. But if not Giricek, I think Ronniee Brewer has potential. If he can step it up we'll have a good competitive team forthe playoffs

Hell yeah, its a proud time to be a Jazz fan. While the Jazz haven't won any titles, I would argue that they have put a good product on the floor as consitantly as any team in any professional sport.
