Bulls got 18mins of intense Darko torture, that's what happened, never mind Howard.

how good was Francisco Elson running the floor tonight?

IMO, Denver made a mistake by not keeping him and getting rid of either K-Mart or Nene.

How Nene got a 10mil/year deal is beyond me. Elson is cheap, and just as effective. Denver needs to get rid of either Nene or K-mart. K-mart at least is still productive, but not worth that contract.

Camby on the other hand.... imagine him having a healthy season. He could win the defensive player of the year. He's always been a candidate half way through, then injury happens, and we all know the rest.

With the way Tim Thomas was playing, Clippers may want to seriously consider trading Maggette. Maggette still has a lot of value, and probably not happy coming off the bench. Trade him for a Center or something.

How about Melo getting tossed out of the game? If the players aren't allowed to express any emotion then whats the point of watching? David Stern is trying to turn every player into Tim Duncan, no joke. I gotta admit though, Melos a better man then me cause I would have flipped out worse than he did. But seriously, those new set of rules are going to probly make the NBA lose more fans than they gain. Zero tolerance= bullshit

To me tossing something is a form of violence. Whether it is water bottles, headband, chair. Tossing the headband is the same as tossing a chair because at the end, you are trying to achieve the same effect. You are trying to convey your anger into force.
Would you allow tossing a water bottle? How about mouth guard? Where do you draw the line?

If Melo wanted to express his emotions, he could've yelled, argued with the officials or something. Tossing something is not the way to do it.

Cleveland win 88-81 at Spurs. I didn't think they would win considering the fact that they haven't won at the Spurs since the 1988-89 season. When Duncan was on fire i thought they would come back and win it.

Agreed Matt. Elson looked very good tonight. I hope he can contribute consistantly. Thats what the Spurs big man lacked last season.

But if he had done any of those the end result would have stayed the same.

Well just tossing the band away is pointless, he shudve nailed the referee is the eye or sumthin with it.

Anywayz, another loss for the Nuggets :( God damn they just cant finish the games, both games they were up by like 6 at the end of the 3rd and they end up losing them by 1 and by 3, play all 48 fuckin mins!

Anthony missed 3 shots at the end of the game. But superb game by Garnett. I enjoyed AI's Game Winning shot.

Curry had 20pts and 2 REB!!!!

2 rebounds.... is that even possible for a center? With his sizes, balls should be landing to him. He doesn't even have to move.

Dont worry man, we always start the season slow, Its our style, i dont know why we do it but we just do, its like a curse or something. I think Melo is a bit out of form, he'll bounce back. 28 points is still quite good, good to see him grabbing 5 boards aswell.

What happened to JR smith tonight? Did he get ejected cos he got 2 techs?

I gotta admit, the Cavs are looking really strong this year. Lebron's definitely improved his finishing around the basket skills (and posterizing Tim Duncan in the process) and Hughes is probably 80-90% healthy and Drew seems to have is act together and Z is solid as usual... I could see them making the East finals and making a run at the 'ship.

Just want to know if anyone's been keeping track of ejections? I've heard that the decisions have been a bit iffy and no warnings are given out to players...
