I'm sure Divac will be a Hall of Famer, and all Kings starters years ago (Christie, Bibby, Peja and C-Webb) should be there too. I've never seen any other basketball team like that one, they played the best way possible.

If that was really the case, then I would enshrine the 93-94 Lakers (Divac, Campbell, Ceballos, Jones, Van Exel & Peeler)....that was my favourite team & season of all-time....it cannot be surpassed....

i was reading thru some of my old slam magazines and it was talking bout Hall of Famers. and how Malone and Pippen will be there etc. then it came to the future hall of famers, Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway etc. had great compliments especially for those two, saying how theyll continue to score heavily for many years to come. Its just sad seeing how much expectation these two players had on them, then to be flushed away due to injuries. I really fear that one or two of these upcoming stars e.g. Lebron, Wade, Melo will get a career ending injury

Where's Kevin Garnett?

He's had a quiet team career but individually his game is magnificent.
I'd think that if Minnesota can rally again and make 1/2 good postseason pushes, he could get in.

Kevin Garnett hasn't been mentioned as the thread is about borderline future HOFers and whether or not they should get in. KG would seem destined to be in the Hall of Fame one day whereas players like Grant Hill and Anfernee Hardaway seem a bit more iffy since they had a shorter run as cream of the crop players.

maybe, maybe not....I think the fact he played his entire career with Pacers & didn't bounce around like other top players really cements his spot in the HOF....due to his time in Indy & all his clutch moments that lit up the Eastern Conference Playoffs for years, he is synonymous (sp?) with that period of the game & Pacers' basketball....that's why he's going in....

Nash won 2 consecutive MVP's....he's helping to bring back a more traditional view of the PG....he will be going to HOF....but please note, I didn't say he's first ballot HOF-er like some of the others....meanwhile, while Ray Allen has a silky smooth jumper, he doesn't have the Reggie Miller-like clutch performances in playoffs....maybe if he was still with Bucks, then it might have been different....probably not though....he's still got time though....
