This nba.com news brief says that Cheryl Ford is the daughter of Karl Malone. Am i reading this correctly? I didnt know that.

It's true. I believe he has two or three other kids (one of whom was born around the 1997 Finals if I recall correctly) which isn't surprising since he's now in his early 40s.

yeah its reaaly true..Im just wondering why Cheryl didnt use the surname of her dad.It'll be great if she has a name of Malone on her back.Correct me if I'm wrong but I know karl's wife is a filipina(from Philippines). :wink:

If I recall correctly her mother was Karl Malone's high school (or possibly college) girlfriend and they were never married, thus Cheryl took her mother's maiden name of Ford instead of Malone.
