GRIZZ WIN!!!!!!!!!!!

They finally won one, and at the expense of MJ and the Wiz. Great team performance by the Grizz, they had 5 players in double digits: Earl Watson (WTF) 17 points and 5 assists, Wesley Person-14 points and 5 boards, Gordon Giricek had 11 and Stro and Wright had 10 each. Gooden and Gasol only took 11 shots between them, scoring 6 and 7 respectively. Gasol also pulled in 15 boards and blocked 2 shots.
The reason the Wizards lost this game was because of their starting backcourt. Stack and Hughes both shot poorly (Stack- 4 of 19 fgs, 0 of 8 3pts and Hughes-1 of 7 fgs).Stack finished with 9 points, 6 assists and 4 boards in 43 mins. Hughes with 2 points and 2 TO in 20 mins. Jordan played very well off the bench again (He really wants that 6th Man trophy) with 20 points (9 of 18fgs), 6 boards, 5 assists and 2 steals. Kwame had 14 and 8 before fouling out.
So the streak stops at 13 losses. Hopefully they might get some confidence and start putting some good performances in. They could be a really exciting team once/if they learn to play together. They have youth and a lot of potential on their side.

Do you think they would go 0-82 for the season...?

Hughes is soooooooooooooo inconsistent it drives me nuts...

They should improve their game gradually. The Grizz are probably the most talented losing team in any sport. The last time I saw them play was against the Kings. What I saw was that they didn't have a scheme in their offense or a "bread and butter" play. And they are just non-existent on defense.

The addition of Hubie Brown will benefit them the next season. Although it's hard to be a playoff contender in the West.
