Lil Keke is nice with it, he got a new album dropping soon? If he puts a good single out, it should get some attention...a lot of Houston rappers getting noticed in the last year or so.
You cop Trae's new album Matt?

Never liked Rob Zombie, way too screechy. Disturbed's alright but again not the biggest fan but I like their slight uniqueness.
Cold is pretty old, they were the first banned to be signed by Fred Durst's record company (is it Flip or Interscope?) kinda surprising to me but Durst has a pretty decent lineup on his record company and is also a very creative director its a shame his musical talent is hitting the negatives.
Cold - The One
Cold - Stupid Girl
The two biggest hits by them really, but definitely an underrated act and I second Jae's recommendation on a listen to them.
Anyone into Flyleaf, I cant stand them their like a hybrid of Kitty and Evanescene and I'm not a fan of either one of those bands but alotta girls really are into Flyleaf.
Few bands I recommend
Interpol
Editors
Stone Temple Pilots
Filter
The Cranberries

how the fuck is rap not music? thats the most pathetic statment ive ever read. music means a rythm of sounds. some of the most complex rhythms and layers of music in the past 10 years have been made by rap producers most notably timbaland. and they are plent of rap producers who play instruments themselves and dont "just sit at a computer clicking a mouse". chad hugo from the neptunes is able to play 20 instruments+
and some of the bigest and most influential lyrisists in recent memory have been hip hop artsist. and a find it completley ignorant and pathetic that people say the rap music is only about selling crack and gus and shit when rap music is the mopst political and social conscious music out there at the moment. dont comment on a music genre if all you have heard is the mainstream shit.

I think you're the only person who actually bothered reading his list.

Shut up you idiot, no one cares.
Anyways I kinda like Flyleaf, but I'd rather stick with Garbage and Hole if I want a girl band.

that's freaky i was listening to Dont Mess With Texas too.....

We Bust Back is my fav track on that. It's got that Herschelwood Hardheadz feel to it.
Lil Keke is nice with it, he got a new album dropping soon? If he puts a good single out, it should get some attention...a lot of Houston rappers getting noticed in the last year or so.

1. Don't know, but i'll check into it. Hopefull if he does it's something good. Currency (2004) was shit except for a track or too. IMO it's because his production style changed up. Bird Fly South was good.....and the recent Teflon had some good moments too.
2. Yeah i got it, kinda feels like a mixtape though.....Swang has been out for a long long time. Losing Composure & Same Thing Different Day were the shit though and i still listen to Guerilla Maab and ABN.
Today been listening to Do or Die and Dead Prez. DOWN is an awesome track. The whole RBG CD is awesome....Dead Prez are underrated IMO.
Tomorrow I'm cranking out Jadakiss "Kiss Da Game Goodbye".

It's already been discussed and like I said, no one gives a shit anymore. You can tap a spoon on a table and call it music technically, so yeah, obviously rap is a form of music.
