well, first i'd like to say that i didn't made any of those cyberfaces.

I admit that the ones you've spotted aren't very great. but some of them were made by patchers who began, so we're all starting by making crap i assume.
and i personnally reckoin that I mostly host good cyberfaces, there are a few that are not great, but they shall be progressively replaced by improved ones.

i'll keep them for the moment on alexsite, as those patchs now cannot be found elsewhere on the web (very very hard to find live 2000 ressources on the web now, as many great sites disappeared)

and i don't wanna put online old patchs without the authorization of their authors, i had some problem once, i won't do it twice and in a way that's normal to ask the authorization.

that's why we were starting from scratch; but hey, just to tell you 3 facts:
- nba live 2000 has the best gameplay
- nba live 2000 is the most patched game of the series
- nba live 2000 has already a fully complete National Teams Patch

I don't rip SHIT!!! Don't need too.............. So don't start accusing people of stealing your work. I updated that patch from Edwin of the old black and white site for live 2000..................... And for your information that Stephen Jackson was created way before Live 2003 even came out, the headband and armband's are all me. I took a snapshot off the T.V. just to create that headband.
Download it and check it out before you try to make me look bad!

Before you start dissing some of the Live 2000 patcher's, remember how some of your earlier patches looked. A lot of these patches that you pointed out were made as some of those new patcher's first efforts.


Just to clarify things; i never use any part of someone's patch without permission first, and then i leave full credit. Check out my National Teams site, i have given credit to Jose, Tony and ReyJ for parts i have used.

Devastator, No wonder when i tried to E-mail Edwin about updating that Stephen Jackson patch, he never replied. This is my bad, there was no name of creator in the original .bat file, so i thought is was his. I was not going to release it because i never got a reply back, but then after several e-mail's from people around this years NBA finals, i broke down and decided to release it.
In my Live 2000 new release thread i left the reason for re-distributing an unauthorized update of your patch. Like i said this is my bad, if you don't want me to leave it up for download................ just say so. I will have Alex take it off the site.

First of all, Alexboom: U dont have to make excuses 4 the patchmaker or yourself. Nobody is saying that you have to. Anyway it was not a personal diss to everyone that made the patches (like I wrote) but it is fun to compare to, todays graphic and see the development of the NBA Live series.

But I must say, after I looked at some old screenshots from 01, its a big difference even if its almost the same game. Ill upload a few soon.

And yeah, that Fisher looks really good.

I agree that graphics improved a lot from Live 2000 to 2003, but my man, you cannot compare the gameplay Live 2003 gameplay has nothing to see with Live 2000, and that's the reason why we see people coming back to Live 2000.
