Favourite/Best plays of the 05/06 seesun

Postby Jugs on Mon Jul 17, 2006 10:17 pm

Guys, what were your favourite or best plays of the past season?

I liked:
Kirk Snyder dunking over Von Wafer
Dwight Howard alley-oop, where he stretched backed and slammed it.
Gerald Green's alley-oop and Pape Sow's 4 finger salute :P .
Vince Carter posterizing Alonzo Mourning all the time, especially the hip to hip one.
Kobe Bryant's game winner against the Suns in game 4.
The Shaq/Bynum dunk-ons.
Kobe's 81 point game against Raptors and 63-62 in 3 quarters against Mavs.
Nate Robinson dunking over Spudd Webb and Iggy's behind the backboard dunk in the Dunk Contest.
Bogut's around the back pass in the rookie/soph game.

Iverson crossing out Antonio Daniels.

Jason Richardson with the spinning three pointer to win the game against Dallas.

Desmond Mason shitting on Matt Carroll while stilll getting his jersey tugged on.

Wade behind the back to Mourning in the Bulls playoff series.

Charlie Villanueva doing a 180 on the baseline and dunking it on a Knick... Don't remember which one though.

Qyntel Wood's 360....

I know it isn't a "play" but its my favorite moment from the season.

Stephen Jackson gets badly injured in a collision with Lamar Odom, has to spend the night in the hospital, yet still starts the next game against the Pistons and scores 20 in the win.

That was one of the best plays I've ever seen. Oh yeah, did you see Igoudala's facial expression after that play?

I admit I am biased, but these plays were just really good:

Ariza on Big Ben
Ariza on Nocioni

and my anti-highlights:

all those wack *ss dunks from Lebron and Wade that made the top 10's because the nba wants to earn billions by hyping everything wade/lebron related
