yeah the baskets are pretty shaky at the Pyramid. I just got back from the Lakers-Grizz game today and I was very disapppointed to see Rudy Gay in a red t-shirt behind the bench. Alexander Johnson & Lawrence Roberts impressed me... now I know what Jerry saw in both... they're big strong guys that rebound well. Johnson had some huge blocks that got me off my feet including a huge block on a open layup by BYnum. Bynum looked genuinely disinterested the whole game and picked up 7 fouls. Notable players on Memphis were Junior Harrington formerly of the Nuggets and Joe Forte (The Celtics's favorite player) who didn't do much but miss some shots badly.
I did see Kareem, Brian Shaw, and Rambis on the Lakers bench.

I've seen backboards shattered before by powerful dunks, but never have I seen the entire hoop apparatus buckle and collapse almost to the floor as was the case during the Lakers-Mavericks match after the Lakers' high-leaping 6-5 rookie forward from George Washington, Danilo Pinnock, slammed one spectacularly through the nets. Pyramid personnel quickly cranked the hoop back to its normal 10 foot height, amid cheers from the amused crowd. .

we need video of this!!!
