Old School vs. New School Tournament!!!

I created 16 teams. 8 are from the 80's and 90's and the rest are from the 2000's. Here are the teams:
1987 Lakers (Magic, Worthy, and Kareem)
1986 Celtics (Bird, McHale, and Parish)
1983 76ers (Doc and Moses)
1998 Bulls (MJ, Pip, Worm)
1998 Heat (Zo, Mash, Hardaway)
1997 Jazz (Stockton to Malone)
1989 Pistons (Zeke and the Bad Boys)
1999 Knicks (Spree, LJ, Ewing, and Houston)
I know they aren't the best teams ever from the 80's and 90's but I only have Live for PS2 and can only create up to 50 players so I had to pick some more recent teams and I didn't want to use the same team twice. For the 2000's I have some future teams that I made. I didn't use anyone from another team on a future one, I am just supposing that the players will stay with their team. So here they are:
2002 Nets (Van Horn, not Mutombo)
2003 Mavericks (Dirk, Nash, and Finley)
2003 Spurs (This year's champs)
2004 Kings (End of Kings' run)
2005 Pacers (Young players finally starting to develope)
2005 Suns (Amare, Stephon, and Marion)
2006 Rockets (Yao, Francis, Posey, and Griffin shine)
2008 Cavaliers (LeBron, Darius, Dajuan, and Boozer)
If you could give me some suggestions on who you think will get really good and how I should hold this tournament that would be great.

I meant he meant the Nets team before the Mutombo/VanHorn-McCulloch trade...
I think you should add a Clippers team without Donald Sterling... If they could afford to stay with all those players... Miller, Brand, Kandi, Odom, Maggette, etc... and them improving...

The Nets team is 2001-02.
I don't want to make a Clippers team because they always fall apart. I may however make a Nuggets future team because it looks like they are gonna get Maggette and Andre Miller.

Right now Maggette is talking with Denver about a 6-year deal. He will play for them if LAC doesn't match their offer which is likely.
