The word out of Utah was that Blaine native Patrick O'Bryant, who played in college at Bradley, made such a good impression in a workout with the Jazz that the 7-foot center is at the top of their draft list. ESPN.com's Insider reported that one Eastern Conference scout called O'Bryant the top prospect in the draft. "While that may be one lonely opinion, it does appear that O'Bryant's stock is on the rise," read the report. "He is long, athletic and the only legit center in the draft. He might have a big draft in his future."

Stephen isn't half that bad and I think he would work in Utah's halfcourt offense. I don't know about sending the first round draft pick for him, though. Maybe send Matt Harpring and a second round pick (or two) for Stephen.
Indy wrote:I like Harpring, but he's really a poor man's Peja Stojakovic, and we already have the real thing.
What about making this a bigger deal? Jackson/Foster/Tinsley/17th pick for Harpring/Okur/14th?
You'd definitley get rid of your reputation of the whitest team in the league.
Unrestrict3D wrote:Noooo thanks. We could get a much better deal for Okur with the season he had. Plus, we've already got three point guards to deal with. Foster isn't all that great of a player and I think, well, I think I'd have to decline that offer, kind sir.

Thank you for proving my point. Raja Bell is NOT available and he would come at a higher price. Not to mention the fact that the Jazz had him a year ago.
Plugged-in league executives report the Memphis Grizzlies are in trade talks with the Utah Jazz about ex-Cav Carlos Boozer, who has endured two injury-riddled years in Salt Lake City that have led to trade rumors in the past. After getting swept out of the playoffs in three consecutive seasons, the Grizzlies might be looking to add some toughness. Boozer has four years and $47 million left on the deal he signed two summers ago.
The Jazz reportedly will bring Mouhamed Saer Sene to town for a second formal workout — another telltale sign that the team is seriously considering selecting the 7-foot center from Senegal with its No. 14 overall selection in the June 28 NBA Draft.
