Seriously, though.... my heart tells me to say Lebron, but I'm sorely afraid that at this point I have to say Kobe Bryant. :x I don't like him though.

Dunno. It's highly debateable.

But my two picks'd be LeBron and Wade.

Thu Jun 15, 2006 9:41 am

I'll always say Kobe.

Thu Jun 15, 2006 10:00 am

Definetly Kobe but Lebron is definetly the future of the game. He still has another 10 years ahead of him.

And Donetello how the hell did you get my pic???

Thu Jun 15, 2006 10:05 am

Lebron may have 13, 14 years ahead of him. He's only 22. But I'd say Kobe is ahead of lebron just becuase the man has 3 rings. Lebron is catching up, and Wade/ Nowtizki are right there as well. People have forgetten how dangerous a healthy amare is as well. Then you also have players like tmac, kg and iverson who are still great great players. The league is so full of genuine superstars right now, its awesome.

if ur talking about competitiverness and will to win i would say iverson and wade, and for most skilled lebron & kobe

I got to say Lebron/Kobe for now...but I think Wade will become really good...him or bron.

Thu Jun 15, 2006 10:56 am

Kobe.

Oh duh,wow im dumb
Also McGrady can be very very good but its a shame no one really can see that with him always beign injured and not healthy. If he was healthy for one full season he could be up there with Kobe. everyone knows about T-Macs 13 points in 35 seconds right?

Thu Jun 15, 2006 11:38 am

^Yep, I'd say T-Mac is the best because he's a pwner when playing at 100%
and because im a big Tracy fan, its a shame he barly played 05-06 season.

Kobe because nobody can guard him, he can score 81 pts, and he plays defense. The reason i choose him over lebron is because he's a much better shooter, he plays better defense, and he is already abnormaly athletic so LeBron's athleticiscm doesnt outweigh his that much, though its going to be LeBron in just a few years no doubt.

Thu Jun 15, 2006 12:04 pm

What about in 2 years from now?

I think if Wade develops a respectable outside shot, and continues to improve (especially with The Glove around), he could become the best player in the league.

But then i forget about LeBron, who is just unbelievably talented, plus has more size. So Wade comes in second behind LeBron.

Thu Jun 15, 2006 12:06 pm

You would have to say lebron but coming in a close second would be ron mercer

Thu Jun 15, 2006 12:13 pm

Steve Franics and Stephon Marbury.

Thu Jun 15, 2006 12:15 pm

dwade/lebron/mcgrady

Honestly i hate to say this but the only reason Kobe put up 81 points is because he took 40 something shots and went to the line 20 times. If anybody does that they are sure to have 80-90 points by the end of the game. But true Kobe has a sweet turnaround fadeaway and you know everytime he drives to the basketball he is the fiercest warrior in the game.

Thu Jun 15, 2006 12:41 pm

Allen Iverson's drive to win is hard to match and Kobe and LeBron are outstanding in terms of skill. I think overall though I'd go with Kevin Garnett, while he hasn't achieved Kobe's success in terms of rings the guy has everything you want in a player (skill, competiveness, personality, desire to win etc).

because nobody can guard him which is what silas was saying

Thu Jun 15, 2006 1:16 pm

yes i know nobody can guard him well with his exlposive capability but if anybody jacks up 40 shots with 20 free throw attempts they have a good chance at 80 points

Thu Jun 15, 2006 1:46 pm

Kobe
Lebron
D-Wade

Do you know anything at all about basketball? You give "anyone" 40 something shots and they're all going to shoot over 50% like Kobe did are they? Kobe's the 2nd player in history to score over 80 points, yet he's nowhere near being the first to take 40 shots...

Thu Jun 15, 2006 2:41 pm

I dont care who you are, when you score 55 pts in a half its more than just shot attempts. Do you think the reason Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 pts is because he just took a bunch of shots. No, theres a certain bit of "unstoppability" and skill that goes along with it.
