Kings New Colors

according to THE color man for major sports in the U.S. (PANTONE), these are the new Kings colors:

I'd like to know how theyre gonna pull that off....maybe a logo recolor? some jersey re-figuring?...we shall see...

what y'all think?

Interesting. All I hope is they change the god-awful uniforms they wore last year. Yuck.

I thought their purple jerseys last year were ok. Personally I prefered the Black with a hint of purple jersey from a few years ago.

I wonder how they'll fit red into their designs.

red would look pretty good on them and purple with black would look good 2.

maybe the nba is making it a rule that all teams must have red in them. Bucks, now Kings, for a league that has enough red teams

The Kings had one of the worst jerseys I've ever seen in my life last season. I think their black from a few years back was neat but I'm trying to see how the red and gold will fit in.

I think they might be another one of the teams trying to go to retro colors... in NBA live they got the blue red and white jerseys so they might go with jerseys that are purple red and white and a little gold trim

What's the point, if because of artest (notice the small font "a") they will never be higher than 8-7 in West.

Anyways, I have no idea how you would fit purple, mettalic gold and red together...maybe try the same thing the cavs did with the Blue jerseys?

The jerseys last year I kind of liked. The jersey number was nice and I didnt think that they looked too bad.

Red and purple are analogous colors, which means they go well together regardless. Most likely the metallic gold will be light trimmings, which won't take away too much from the red and purple, but still give the effect of "royalty."

My guess is that purple is away and red is alternate anyway.

I liked them too. I think the new ones will probably look like the red jerseys the Raptors use - ugly.

Um... not that I'm doubting you, conrad... but where does it say that they're chaing their colors? That red up there is listed under 2005/2006-present.. and that's now. Meaning the red was supposedly part of the repertoire already (not that I've seen it anywhere).

Its just another excuse to sell more jerseys. And this way when they have 47 retro nights each year they'll have more options.
