Macijauskas is one of the best three point shooters in the world... I don't know why they didn't even gave him a chance... Not like Hornets were playing that well toward the end and JR Smith was benched during the season as well... Desmond Mason deserves to play, I don't know about Snyder, but I'm saying that Macas could very well be used to spread the floor to make floor Paul and West to do their thing...

If they didn't respect his shooting, the opposition would quickly learn otherwise.

He is not a great defender, but it didn't stop Nash from getting 2 MVP trophies in a row. He deserves a chance and is a rare talent... Shooting skills are degrading all over the NBA, have been for a long while now, you can't let a legitimate three point threat sit on the bench when he can either score points or make room for the other guys...

Nash can shoot and pass. Macijauskas can only shoot (based on what I've read in this thread).

They were still fighting for the 8th playoff spot.

Desmond Mason deserves to play, I don't know about Snyder, but I'm saying that Macas could very well be used to spread the floor to make floor Paul and West to do their thing...

Mason got the minutes earlier in the season, but he didn't produce as expected. Plus he was injured, so that hindered his ability to play and Snyder was forced to play. I like Snyder, he's got potential, plays agressively, and can develop into a good defender with a decent offensive game.
