For our next two prospects we head back to America, this time bringing in a Umass product
and a player who has been playing overseas lately, but has come back to enter the draft.
"Hustle" possibly the best word to define Jing Xu's game.
Having played a lot of Ultimate Frisbee for Umass you can see Jing's abilities from this translate into the way he plays ball.
Playing as a handler in Ultimate, Jing has great vision which makes him an automatic PG.
Jing has amazing hustle, most likely due to the hard diving etc involved in Ultimate Frisbee.
While not having amazing skills in any area of his game, Jing has the determination and IQ to bring a range abilities to his team.
Whilist not being super athletic like many guards in the league today, Jing has great strength
this will allow him to overpower many other guards in the league.
Projected Draft Position: Late First Round to Early Second Round
Best Case Scenario: Manu Ginobili
Worst Case Scenario: Lindsey Hunter
Most Likely Case: Manu, less scoring more hustle, more hair.
"Jing of all trades" Jing can porvide whatever his team need, the important jumper to the dive for the loose ball..
Sam Anurak...... the name rolls off the toungue,
and thank god its easy to say as if projections are right this kid is gonna be something special.
Only one year out of highschool, Anurak decided to test the waters in Europe for a year while he waited to become elligible for the draft.
Bouncing round a few clubs, before returning back to the states to await training camps and workouts,
Sam made a reputatuion as an amazing ball handler with court vision compared to Magic Johnson.
Standing at 6'9" Sam is a very interesting prospect to play the Point in the league.
Despite standing so tall Anurak has a great first step and his lateral quickness is amazing.
The only real downside to his game at this stage is his shooting, which although ok
is very streaky and defenders are still not respecting his shot too much, rather sagging to play the drive.
However, at only 19 and with all the basic mechanics down pat there is still plenty of time to work on his shooting.
Projected Draft Position: Mid Lottery to Mid 20's.
Best Case Scenario: Magic Johnson with more athleticism
Worst Case Scenario: Shaun Livingston
Most Likely Scenario: Shaun Livingston with more strength and scoring ability.
At 6'9" and with such great athleticisim its scary to think this kid is most likely gonna play point in the league.
We managed to get both these prospects in for a workout
and boy did they impress us with their enthusiasim.
While neither really showed us anything we didnt know, we were impressed with Jings shooting,
which while we knew it was solid, he showed us that is will be a better asset in the league than we thought.
Previous to this workout we were a bit worried with Anurak's range on his jumper,
however he he managed to knock down a few nice tirples during the one on one drills,
although it is still apparent he is prefering to drive on almost every possestion which is fine until the defender stops defending his jumper
making it harder for him to get into the lane.
Overall both proved that they deserve their current draft projections, and we wouldnt be supprised if they get taken a little earlier.

Sam made sure we knew he could get up, we expect to see this kid in the dunk contest. || Jing's has obviously been working on his shooting, this could up his stock as a few teams were hesitant about this area.

He used the sweat patch for Live made by someone in this forum. You can download it if you have the PC version.
Anyways, nice scouting Mark. Good to see some NLSC ballers in there.

April ended with the Pistons finishing the season strong,
rolling to a 7-0 streak the finish the regular season, I pitty the team that will face Detroit in the first round.
The were some worrying moments during the month, such as struggling for a whole half against Portland.
However the Pistons proved they have the focus needed in the crunch and easily came through when it mattered.
In this recap note that these are the final standings, stats etc for the season.
Overall most players stats remained the same,
Chauncy Billups ended up falling short of averaging a double double for the season,
mainly due to some big scoring nights in the last month where he didnt record as many assists.
The playoff picture is now set,
there was a little activity during the final month, New Jersey knocked Philly out of the 2nd seed,
while the Cavs moved up into 4th and the Raptor dropped out of the 8th seed and the Knicks moved in.
In the West nobdoy was knocked out, but Houston overtook San Antonio while Denver overtook the Wolves.
Divisional Standings did not have much activity.
However it is interesting to note that in each conference there was one division with 4 teams making the post season,
one division with 3 teams making it, and one with only 1 team making it.
Note: MVP Canidates included also.
Paul Pierce and Carmelo Anthony both led their teams to berths in the playoffs,
both averaging over 30 per game, and were deserved winners of their respective rewards.
Chris Paul had an absolutley stellar month but it was still to no avail as NOK finished 11th in the West.
Andrew Bogut had a nice month as well, however his Bucks finished 3rd to bottom in the East.
THe League Leaders finished up realtively the same.
This time we added the FG, 3pt, and FT % leaders as well as Mpg.
Rip Hamilton showed his efficiency with 50% from the 3 pt land, and shot 52% from the field.
Billups took home the steals and assists titles while Ben Wallace took home the Blocks title.

Super dynasty mark. All that hard work you've put into it instead of going to lectures has paid off, especially for us followers of your dynasty. Keep it up and good luck for the playoffs

Good to see you finally posting some more since last year
Lol I dont miss lectures to do stuff on this, usually miss them to sleep.
Oh forgot to add up above that if you make your predictions for a series after 1 game has been played, you can only get half the points avaliable, ie you can only get 1 point for guessing a series with the right amount of wins, and there will be no points for guessing the series outcome, also for the picking of the teams you are backing if oyu guess after 1 game has been played a point gets taken off the amount you could win if the team you are backing makes it to the conference finals, 1 point gets deducted for each game, but since most people will have made their predictions after the first 1 or 2 games it wont be too much of an issue.
