Damnit...held to 84 (or 86, whatever) points. We were playing pretty damn well towards the end of the second half.

You can say what you want about the officiating on a few certain calls...the Tim Thomas turnover. Whatever. It all boils down to the simple fact that we cannot get a damn rebound. And with our style of ball, there is no way Kurt Thomas or Brian Grant would be able to become integrated into the system in time.

I dunno...Dallas just looks like the better all-around team right now.

yep, I'll give credit where credit is due....didn't think the Mavs could slow the Suns down that much, but full credit to them for doing so

and to Colin & Drex, you are both right....as Drex said, I'm from New Zealand, but I do live in Brisbane, Australia now :P

as for chump, it can mean a lot of things....I'd prefer to be called a lot of things than a chump....chump can be a loser or someone who is not very intelligent or an idiot....

Phoenix are back! 2-2
I didn't watch game 4 but did Dirk have a bad shooting night or did the Suns defend him very well?

Dirk was horrible. Phoenix defended him just the same as they did in the previous game.

Woopy, Phoenix wins. :)

The Suns have actually played pretty good defense throughout this series. It's the offense that was lacking.

Good to see Raja play today, and Kurt Thomas get some playing time as well. I'm kind of confused though, why everyone says he cant play in the Suns style. He did play 53 games this year, and I thought they had a pretty good record with him in the lineup. Maybe it's just this series everyone is referring to... :?:

2-2 huh? Kudos to Phoenix. Its good that at least one of the series is living up to its billing.

Bingo.

Great game all-around by the team. They even started rebounding in the second half. At one point that battle was 15-4 for Dallas according to one of the announcers, yet the game finished with the Suns having just 4 less.

54% shooting, 47% from 3, and a mere 7 TO's. How could they lose?

I've been very surprised about the outcome of the game. I didn't expect the Suns to win that clearly. Kudos to them. Barbosa played very good off the Bench and Boris Diaw was awesome too.

Barbosa did play a hell of a game. Still, the Mavs wouldv'e won had Dirk been on his game.

That's easy for you to say... the Mavs were trailing by 25 at one point before D'Antoni brought in Pat Burke and the rest of the reserves. The Suns won the game, but I didn't think they played nearly as well as they could have.

Ugh.

We had a 7 point lead in the third quarter...Tim Thomas was filling it up. Why did we go away from Tim Thomas? The Mavs called a timeout, and they started switching---Nash would be guarded by Dirk, Thomas by freakin Devin Harris. Why not give Tim Thomas the ball and have him go to work on the guy who's like 7 inches shorter?

Whatever.

It should be against the rules for a 7-footer to be that good of a shooter (Dirk).

Ah well...I'm confident that the Suns can even it up in game 6. Game 7...ehhh...I'm not so confident.

I've been a Nowitzki fan from the moment he ripped it up at the Hoop Summit before getting drafted & traded for Tractor Traylor to Dallas....even though an average rookie season, you could see he was destined for great things....I'm glad he's added to his game each year & is showing everybody that Euros can play tough (Y)

WOOT!!! :D :D :D

He's so amazing! I watched the game and only got two hours of sleep, but it was worth it.

You gotta love that Tim Thomas bit... 8-) Dirk's becoming a trash-talking mofo...

I hope Dirk breaks his ankles, both of them. Anyway, Phoenix should've kept going to Tim Thomas in the fourth to open up space for other players (if they doubleteamed him). Ahh well, can't wait for game six. Hopefully Tim Thomas can hit another bucket full of threes and the rest of the team can contribute a little more on both ends of the floor.

as much as i like the suns, seeing dirk torch tim thomas was something to see. tim thomas really has no place to trash talk, he sucks. all he can do is hit spot up jumpers, thats it. having said that, i hope the suns win the next 2 games. i really pray they can pull this one off

I still have a bit of dislike towards the Mavericks, but I feel that Dirk Nowitzki got the MVP stolen from him by some Canadian tool. Plus my already bandwagoned team didn't make the play-offs so I have to support someone.
