Nice presentation dude, I hope your not planning on giving the rookies starting spots immediately, IMO they have to earn them.

Give Diaw a starting spot

But yeah the presentation is very nice, tough luck on the loss, but you are playing a championship contender remember

Hmmm, you couldn't pick up LeBron in FA? Him+Howard would be the new dynamic duo.

But anyway, good looking so far. (Y)

Mark., thanks. I'm just rotating my roster in preseason.
I wanted to give some playing time for rookies, and there is no doubt that Diaw will be my starting 5 player

Anthony15, Yeah lots of work is waiting for me

Thierry², thx, Raps were killing me all the game.

The Black Death, i was a bit short of money to sign him. Thanks

Oh, tough loss. But I´m pretty sure you will get it done ... playoffs will be a big deal, but you can make ite. Raptors are a contender for the title. And how do they play ? Is it a classical one two punsh bosh and LBJ, or is it all about the King and Bosh had all his points by hustling ?

You will make it, good luck !

hova-, thanks, I hope I will make it. It will be the main purpose for the team this year. Raptors are true contenders, if James and Bosh find their game.

MAGIC LOST ANOTHER GAME, BUT WERE PROMISING

October 18, 2007
TD Waterhouse, Orlando

Image

Today Orlando Magic lost another preseason game, now against Wizards at home.
The first half was almost the same as in previous game, but second half was promising.
The score was closed from 20 points to only 3 points at the end of the game.
But Wizards were playing very well at the last minute and celebrated the victory.
Dwight Howard was true team leader with 32 points and 6 rebounds.
Jeffries and Milicic was good, but Boris Diaw still can't find his game.
Jamison from Wizards was very versatile in this game and got the player of the game award.
Now Magic will face with Wolves in the last preseason game.

Not that bad, Dwight Howard is just a monster !
I like the way you use Diaw with 6 assists, although he could score a lil bit more.
And you didn´t grab many boards.

Yes Diaw still can't find his game, hope that he will score more next game, i'm planning to place him at center.
Rebounds, huh.. It is always my main problem, I think i will need to play 12 min quarters in the season, to make it even more realistic

Yeah Ross was doing very well for Wizards. I'm not worrying about the losses now, it is only preseason :)

DIAW AND HOWARD KILLED WOLVES IN THE FIRST PRESEASON VICTORY

October 25, 2007
TD Waterhouse, Orlando

Image

This was the first preseason victory for the Magic, that gave some expectations for new season.
The game quality was quite good for the Magic, esp better than in previous two games.
Dwight Howard was storming in this game, scoring 36 points and won the combat against Garnett.
Diaw put as center in this game scored 32 points. Probably he will remain here.
The best player at Wolves was Kevin Garnett, having 25 points and 13 rebounds.
Turnovers and poor rebounding still remain the biggest problems of the team.
Also this year rookie doesn't play that good that is expected, as well as sophomores.
The new season will start after some days and it will be the perfect match.
Team GM will face with defending champions Dallas Mavericks at the season opener.

Sweet win, Diaw does extremely well on C, right decision to keep him there.
Well the T-Wolves do not have a good roster in my opinion, although I dunno their rookies too much.
But nice you won it, definitely improved !
Playoff the Magic are incoming !

Wow, amazing performances by Dwight and Diaw, it seems that each and every game you're improving with this team and you're finally getting a grasp on how to play with this team, since there might be a slight transition when you completely switch the teams that you are playing with.

Jared Jefferies has been impressive as well, I hope he continues to develop offensively for you because the only thing that he lacks is an offensive punch.

woo that yang shot is very nice.

and use diaw as center, he plays really well there because he can grab boards and put em back. he is not as effective as a foward because he doesnt have that quick step and because he can't really spot up and shoot

My game really improved with Magic in these 3 games. I choosed Wolves to make it easier to win, because they really don't have good lineup, almost without changes, with some rookies. And Diaw will be used as center, he really surprised me how he can play here, better than SF.

I'm busy these days so you will have to wait long for the next recap.

ORLANDO MAGIC ACQUIRED MARQUIS DANIELS

ImageImageImage

Today Orlando Magic acquired Marquis Daniels from the Dallas Mavericks. League has recently agreed the deal.
So now Marquis Daniels is officially the member of Orlando Magic, as well as two players met Mavericks team.
Orlando Magic traded away previous year's rookie Dean Ramsey and the backup point guard Carlos Arroyo.
After the disappointment, when Josh Howard left Dallas they were too bad at small forwards.
So Dean Ramsey will fit perfectly in Dallas, as well as Carlos Arroyo from Puerto-Riko.
After offseason Magic had Nelson and Dooling at PG, so Carlos Arroyo had to left the team as unneeded.
Dean Ramsey played very poor in preseason games, so it was decided to trade him.
We got great player in return, Marquis Daniels. He will help us definetely, because our backcourt was struggling.
Now Daniels will get the starting 5 spot, and rookie Yahi Yates will start from the bench.
Jared Jeffries will probably gain the starting SF position. Off-course it will be the weakest postion.
But team will concentrate with this lineup untill the trade deadline.

"FREESTYLE" OF SEPTEMBER IS NOW RELEASED

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ALL TEAMS ROSTERS RELEASED

EASTERN CONFERENCE

ATLANTIC DIVISION [ New Jersey ][ Philadelphia ][ Boston ][ Toronto ][ New York ]

Favourite: Toronto Raptors

Outsider: Boston Celtics

Raptors had the best offseason this year, signing LeBron James.
This is why they are predicted to be division favourites.
New Yersey Nets have some chances to be first also.
Boston Celtics and New York Knicks probably won't see playoffs.

CENTRAL DIVISION [ Detroit ][ Cleveland ][ Indiana ][ Chicago ][ Milwaukee ]

Favourite: Chicago Bulls

Outsider: Cleveland Cavaliers

Chicago Bulls is the team, which progressing very fast.
Now they can be the first in division for many reasons.
Previous offseason was not successful for Pistons losing Wallace.
This offseason was terrible for Cavaliers losing James.
It is the main reason they are the outsiders of this division.

SOUTHEAST DIVISION [ Miami ][ Washington ][ Orlando ][ Charlotte ][ Atlanta ]

Favourite: Charlotte Bobcats

Outsider: Orlando Magic

Charlotte Bobcats built very strong team last year and it remain very strong.
Last season they lost at conference semifinal and now they want more.
Miami and Washington will be the main opponents for Charlotte.
Orlando Magic considered to be outsiders, because of the terrible last season.
But who knows? Maybe new GM will return back victories to this city.

WESTERN CONFERENCE

NORTHWEST DIVISION [ Denver ][ Utah ][ Seattle ][ Minnesota ][ Portland ]

Favourite: Denver Nuggets

Outsider: MInnesota Timberwolves

Denver Nuggets remain the main favourite at Northwest.
Team doesn't really change for past 3 years.
Portland have some chances to be first with good rookies from last year.
It is probably the weakest division with such team as Sonics, Wolves and Jazz.
They will "fight" for the last place here.

PACIFIC DIVISION [ Phoenix ][ L.A. Clippers ][ L.A. Lakers ][ Sacramento ][ Golden State ]

Favourite: Phoenix Suns

Outsider: Golden State Warriors

With healthy Amare Stoudemire this team looks powerful.
Losing Diaw probably won't hurt taht much.
Golden State Warriors still can not find their game with J-Rich and B-Diddy.
Both Los Angeles teams should go to playoffs.

SOUTHWEST DIVISION [ San Antonio ][ Dallas ][ Memphis ][ NO/Oklahoma City ][ Houston ]

Favourite: San Antonio Spurs

Outsider: No clear outsider

When Dallas lost Josh Howard and General Manager they became weaker.
So Spurs will probably take this division winner.
I think there are no really outsider at this division.
Hornets looks pretty bad on paper, but they can do well.

very cool, must have taken you a while, but I like this very much !
I knew you couldn´t resist trading for Marquis, the trade wasn´t bad either, so why not !

Some teams are really struggling in my opinion.
Minni is just KG and nothin, Cleveland lost LBJ and that is their dead.

I wouldnt say the Warriors are weak, they have a premium backcourt.

And on the paper the Knicks have a nice team ... on the paper ....
Francis is a 90 that shocked me a little bit, but they wont be that good.

Looking forward to opener vs the Mavs ... that is really nice !

It was only a matter of time before you got Daniels. Way to go, Marquis Daniels is also one of my favs.

What was that rookie's overall rating? I thought you should have kept him because he might have had more potential.
