Then the bulls will trade for Darius Miles or Zach Randolph, then bring in Kevin Garnett, lol.

The only way I'd give up Gordon is to make a blockbuster deal, involving several teams and bringing Kevin Garnett to the Bulls, so on and so forth.

Gordon better sit his ass down in Chicago.

Seriously though, Stern should ban the Knicks from making trades.

so that probably means they'd want to deal Steve Francis & a future No. 1 pick....if Skiles could get Francis on the same page, it might be worth it....but it's a big gamble....I'd like to see what they can do in the free agency market before seeing them make any deals....

Wouldn't Francis be an older version of Gordon but more of a cancer?

Gordon's never had the upside that Francis had when he came into the league....I'm just not that high on Gordon really....Francis could still be a good player if he is in right situation & can play under the coach's control (both are unlikely)....maybe he needs to play under a guy like Big Ben (if they were to get him) so he could get his ass bitten off....the 1st Rounder is promising, if it was a 2007 one (which I doubt it would be since they've probably already traded that one away too)....

all this being said, I think there are better trade alternatives for the Bulls than with the Knicks....

Figures, the offseason immediately following my purchase of a Gordon jersey he's rumoured to be on the block. Francis is one of those players I like on any team but the one I follow. I'll even use him in Live sometimes but I'm not to thrilled about the prospect of him going to the Bulls in real life. He's a talented player with All-Star appearances under his belt but I don't think he's the answer to their problems or a good fit.

I know Paxson's been able to make it work the last two years trading the leading scorer to New York, but I don't think it works out this time. Leave it be, Pax.

Somehow, I don't see the group of Gordon, Hinrich, Duhon, Nocioni and Deng staying together for much longer. Chicago lacks a taller and more athletic shooting guard and the Bulls can easily deal one or two in the mix for their bigger needs.

Paxson dismisses Gordon story

Paxson said he has not spoken to anyone in the Knicks organization since October, when he traded Eddy Curry and Antonio Davis to New York.

"There's no interest on the Chicago Bulls' part," Paxson said. "It's a complete fabrication."

welcome to the world of the offseason and the NY media lol

Well, how many times do I have to say it? The Knicks pursue just about everybody in the damn NBA. Every person thats considered to be traded is automatically considered to be an option for the Knicks. So no surprise that the rumor isn't even true.

/dance

I like Ben Gordon but I'm not so big on the Bulls. Bad thing about this
trade would be that I dislike the Knicks even more than I do Chicago.

Utah needs a two-guard. ;)

I wonder when the T-Mac or Kobe going to NY rumours are gonna start?

The guys down in Chicago are smart and they know they have a good thing going.

Because of Steve Francis' and Stephon Marbury's ginormous contracts, if they trade for either of them they'll have to hope to draft a good player instead of signing one, because if they included somebody like chandler along with Gordon to make the salaries closer the bulls would probably want somebody to go along with Francis or Marbury, which (because of all the big contracts on the bulls) would make the contracts not match again. Maybe they'll be able to get Francis (and assuming they send along Chandler with Gordon) have enough space to Sign Al Harrington.

It would seem the rumour is bogus so it won't matter. But Chandler and Gordon for Francis is a horrendous deal.
