RESIGNING PERIOD
ORLANDO MAGIC didn't resign Deshawn Stevenson
Deshawn Stevenson was the best free agent in our team after this year.
New Magic GM decided that he is not needed for the team.
"We drafted very perspective SG, so need to give more minutes to him.
Also Stevenson was asking too much money" - GM of the Magic said.
With money, left not resigning this player, we are willing to sign better FA.
ORLANDO MAGIC didn't resign Mario Kasun
We decided not to resign croatian big man Mario Kasun for many reasons.
He was not demonstrating good stats previous season. Also need to save some money.
Also drafted Johny Yang will replace him perfectly.
ORLANDO MAGIC didn't resign Pat Garrity
This was the last season for this veteran in our team.
We are willing to create the team of perspective guys.
So this player is not having future in our team.
ORLANDO MAGIC didn't resign Terence Morris
This player was released and was no negotiations with him.
I think he is just too weak in the league, also we are willing to sign better FA's

Darko Milicic was resigned with the Magic to new deal.

Nice update, cool magazine, a lil bit hard to read the dark writing, but very cool !
You resigned Darko, that´s pretty ok, he isn´t that bad, quite the opposite, he is a little bit hyped.
You didn´t resign DeShawn Stevenson....... it´s a risk you probably wanted to take, because rookies can be so awful in live.
So my questions:

Stevenson wanted 24 mil deal for 6 years.
And my salary cap was about 11 millions before FA signings.

Yeah I would have kept DeShawn, but thats just me, hes a great open court players and his physical abilities are pretty decent too, good base to build on

I was hesitating to resign him or not, but finally i didn't resign him, because there were lots of guards in our team: some generated rookies, this year rookie, also Dooling able to play at SG.

We are very happy that we signed these 3 players, especially Boris Diaw.
This guy keeps progressing, play very good at defense and is very versatile.
So he will fit in our team perectly. But one serious question: what postion he will play?
Only preseason games will solve this problem. Diaw seemed also happy with his new team.
Another player, signed by the Magic is Jared Jeffries, previous Wizards player.
He will bring strength from the bench, he also able to play SF or PF positions.
There is no doubt that he will be really useful for our team.
The last purchase by Magic is undrafted rookie Vic Tam from this year class.
Sure he will get limited minutes, but we believe that he will proghress in the future.
Toronto Raptors:
Toronto Raptors today have anounced that they sogned superstar LeBron James.
This was one of the biggest signings during the several years, if not the biggest.
LeBron probably disappointed with not successful playoffs end, decided to leave Cleveland.
So Raptors, having the biggest free salary cap managed to convince James to proceed his carrier here.
He will definitely strengthen their SF position and will make amazing combo with Chris Bosh.
Also they signed Keith Bogans and Zoran Planinic. Two bench players able to do his job perfectly.
SO now Raptors roster looks very perfect: Bosh, Villanueva, James, Peterson, also
1st pick of this year draft Armon Brewer at PG. And Graham at the bench. Contenders??
Houston Rockets:
Houston Rockets had pretty good signing period in this offseason signing 3 players.
Lorenzen Wright, Eddie House and Sasha Pavlovic. These player will bring strength.
They all will play from the bench, so leaving Alston, Swift and Black in their positions.
With healthy McGrady and Yao this team hopes to go far this year.
New Orleans Hornets:
They signed former Maverick Josh Howard. We are very happy with our new member of the team.
Hoping he will do that good as he did in Dallas. He will be starting 5 player.
Disappointed Mavs are now looking for good replace for this player.
Atlanta Hawks:
Nick Collison is the new player of the team, going from Seattle to Atlanta.
Hawks coach said he will be good bench player and hopes good game from him.
Milwaukee Bucks:
Seems that Milwaukee is strengthening his froncourt.
Sweetney hopes he will get more playing time than in Chicago.

Good signings !!
Boris Diaw is way better than DeShawn Stevenson if you manage to train his athleticism ...... Jared Jeffries can be a beast at the defensive end ... and this rookie, well I cant say anything about him !
Bron makes it to the Raptors... well, that shows a weak character, he should have stayed in Cleveland and make a next try after the finals vs dallas.
Josh Howard to New Orleans is big, but since "CP3" is in Cleveland, they wont win anything !

Well there goes the Cavs future for awhile, I like that you didnt sign Lebron, would have made your team too strong, I like the Diaw signing, what position are you going to use him at considering he can play all 5, I would go with him at center, would mean you could chuck the ball into him in the post to create for Howard or kick back out.
