BLAZING TRAIL TO THE PLAYOFFS

APRIL 24

LA Lakers 132 at Miami 93

The Lakers finally are gelling as they move one win away from clinching the Pacific Division as their starters dominated the Heat.

APRIL 25

Denver 95 vs Seattle 97

A Ray Allen 3pter on the buzzer stole another opportunity for the Nuggets to clinch the Northwest Division title & leave the door open for the Blazers.

APRIL 29

Denver 87 at Boston 102

The Nuggets lost their 4th straight game & their 8th out of their past 9 games to fail to clinch the division & an automatic number 3 seed, & instead fall to the number 8 seed & a 1st Rd matchup with the Spurs. The benefactor was the Portland Trailblazers who were virtually handed the division, not that they're complaining. The difference in this game was the Celtics wanted it more. For the 2nd straight game , the Celtics rallied behind rarely used rookie PG Mark Moore, who is starting for an injured Marcus Banks, as the Celtics secured the final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.

Playoff Picture

The Portland Trailblazers sealed the Northwest Division & the number 3 seed out West. Let's see if they use their good fortune well.

2. LA Lakers 17-12
3. Portland 15-14
...
6. Phoenix 17-12
...
8. Denver 14-13
-----------------------------
9. Sacramento 14-15
10. Utah 14-15

APRIL '07 PICKS:

Sorry guys, Utah actually only had 3 games (they went 2-1)....so I'm gonna take anyone who picked 1-3 as picking 1-2 so they get half a point instead of none....the people who picked 2-2 I'll grant that as a 2-1....sorry guys....

Jugs

Total = 2.0 points (out of 4.0 points) + 0.011 bonus points

Mark

Total = 2.5 points (out of 4.0 points) + 0.006 bonus points

cwebbiverson

Total = 1.0 points (out of 1.0 points) + 0.000 bonus points

Andreas Dahl

Total = 1.0 points (out of 1.0 points) + 0.000 bonus points

Anthony15

I really hope that the 07 draft class scouting reports will be up soon, but I know you're heaps more busy nowadays.

I can still hope :D

yeah, I'm fighting a lot of things at the mo, including sanity :( I've dbf-ed most things, just gotta find some pics, add cyberfaces, crop a bit, paste crap, etc....then find the time :roll:

although I'm starting to realise that I'm going to seriously have to change my recaps, summaries etc during seasons to keep this one rolling....maybe just concentrate on random aspects, who knows....

I've got a feeling I might go next-gen next year, so we'll have to see what happens then....but that's a long way away....

and here I was thinking you'd be happy to be finally get some well-deserved PT :roll: :lol:

as for the playoffs, since I run on a 3-3-3-3 format due to my short seasons, anything can happen....

Fighting Irish jerseys finally arrived, check them out :P

ImageImage

as for this dynasty, it's in limbo at the moment....I have a big exam 4 weeks from today & haven't done the work I needed to....if I fail it, it's $1,000 down the drain, so I don't plan too....I've finished rating all the 2007 Draft Class prospects, although I have no real desire to make updates at the moment....what I might do is play on with the dynasty & just have random recaps to fill people in....I'll also probably be getting an XBox 360 & NBA2k6 (which I've heard is great) so I'll most likely start up a dynasty on that....would like to keep this one going, just more like Honor Glow's 2004 Lakers' dynasty....

cheers, & let me know what you think of the 'Fighting Irish' jerseys :cool:

will do....as for the jerseys, they must be US sizes as they're quite large....I ordered myself a XL (also order a L just in case)....I'm normally between both sizes IRL, but L is perfect fit for me....as for a lot of the other guys, most of them ordered Large to be on the safe side, so they'll be too big for them :lol:

I dunno, I already think the amount of coverage I give it seems a bit on the pretentious side....any more might be taking it a tad too far :lol:

btw, we don't have a game tomorrow night as State of Origin is on....our bball competition wisely schedules the Origin into the season as they realise there would be a lot of no-shows otherwise....

btw, go Crusaders :cool:

glad you like the jersey....jersey looks better IRL 8-) numbers & lettering & piping look closer to an orangey-yellow colour IRL which works well as the Irish colours 8-)
