That was a yes as in, yes I'd do that trade.

I know your from Slovenia, so I don't know how long you've been following the Pacers (Is it just this season since Saras came over?) but the Pacers management never tells the truth when it comes to the teams plans. Don't worry, Bird saying that not a whole lot will happen means that there will be a massive overhaul more then likely. Its all a smokescreen.

EDIT: That link has nothing in it about Garnett demanding a trade. I don't believe it.

no word on realgm, hoopshype or any 'rumor site'
only thing i saw on real gm was a
Trade rumor: Ricky Davis as part of a Timberwolves package to the 76ers for Allen Iverson.

KG rumors will keep coming all summer though.. hopefully he'll come to save NY

You mean you'd never do it if you were Minnesota? Understandable.

But if you mean you'd never do it if you were Portland..... why? Miles has said he WILL NOT play in Portland anymore, and Zach has said nearly the same (though I believe he could be persuaded to stay with new ownership). So it's basically two players who won't play for you anymore and Sebastian Telfair for KG? Hell yes. Jarett Jack and Steve Blake can handle the point.

Please. He isn't going anywhere. The rumor is crap. If this were true, I would have heard about it by now. I don't mind the scenarios, but none of them are happening because he never demanded a trade and Owner Glenn Taylor said recently: "We will not trade KG. Period."Go on with the scenarios, they are fun and interesting to read, but as of right now and probably always these KG rumors aren't true.

You claiming that it's false is just as arguable as someone else saying they're true. Are you an insider in the Timberwolves organization?

No. I'm not trying to say that at all. It's just that numerous times KG has said publicly that he doesn't want to go anywhere, and both the GM Kevin McHale and Owner Glenn Taylor have clearly stated that they will absoulutley not trade their star.

VanK, Chicago has New York's 1st round pick next year, but it is top three protected, meaning that if NY draws a 1, 2 or 3 pick in the lottery, then Chicago has to wait until the fallowing draft in which NY doesnt have a top 3 pick. That means that if Oden comes out after 1 year, they cant get him.

Do you mean the pick is protected this upcoming draft? Because it isn't whatsoever.

Here's the details:

http://www.draftexpress.com/transactions.php#6

Interesting that the Bulls have the option to swap their pick (for the draft after this one) with the Knicks, it doesn't say it's protected but for Isiah's sake I'd hope it is.

Don't get your panties in a bundle, guys. This is just another stupid rumor that has no base to it. Kevin Garnett does not want to be traded. Period. How many times does he have to say that if he leaves now he will not be able to look himself in the mirror? Garnett is kind of guy who runs away from his problems. He told Glen Taylor he wants better players for next year and more veterans and Glen Taylor said he will do that and spend money to get that done.

Garnett also said the team needs a training camp together and then we'd be much better. They said all the changes are taking a toll on KG and he wants less change. Garnett does not like change and moving out of Minnesota would be a huge move for him.

He loves it here and we love him here. Why do people want him to leave? People complain about Vince Carter and Baron Davis demanding to be traded but then they turn around and say Garnett should demand a trade. Garnett is everything that is right in professional sports and people want to take that away from him.

Garnett is a Timberwolf for life.

Well, Garnett gave all he had for that franchise over an extended period of time (with nothing to show for it). Cant really make the statement for those other guys, especially Vince. As he gets older and older the chances of winning a title diminish. Its obvious nothing's happening for him down in Minny so while he's still in form it would be nice to see him be that missing piece for another time which would quite possibly make them a serious championship contenders overnight (please let that be LA:) ).

I want him to leave for selfish reasons. Even though its a stretch, if he came to LA I think he would be the perfect complement to Kobe. He doesnt need many touches to be productive and Kobe wouldnt have to dominate the ball as much cuz Garnett can set up plays from the post. I'd much rather see KG down there than Kwame Brown.

Dont rule out Seattle Guys!

Rashard Lewis has been the speculation of trade rumors this summer. I see a possible trade involving Rashard Lewis + Petro/Swift + possibly Fortson (sign and trade) or Mikki Moore (sign and trade).

I think this is a very possible option because this would move Chris Wilcox to Center, Then Garnett, likely Damien Wilkins, Ray Allen, and then Luke Ridnour to start, then they'd probably draft a SG or SF.

Lakers are still my first option, then Bulls

I rule out New York because Garnett wants out because he's losing, he wouldn't want to downgrade and move to new york.

I doubt there's a chance for KB & KG to coexist. However, if Kobe plays the way he played in some PHO-LAL games, anything can happen. But i agree that there won't be any trade at all, meaning he'll stay in Minny...

Oh I've been around Pacers for quite a while. They started to be my favourite team in 97/98 season (so that makes it what, 8 or 9 years?)..I've been following them since then..And yes, you're probably right about Pacers managment.

Why would the Timberwolves trade Garnett to a division team? That would be stupid.

The T-Wolves most likely wouldn't trade him to the Western Conference. That makes the Bulls a perfect suitor.

true, but personally i dont think he'll get traded. If so NY would work for him and he might be able to lift them to the playoffs. Bulls would be an easy option, and he could make them much better-T-Wolves wont benefit in most situations...

I really do not see him going to New York, there is no way he'd allow himself to be traded to a team that is even worse, he wants out to win, he doesnt like losing all the time.

This thread should be locked. The link posted finds Jalen Rose's boxing predictions important, but not this so called trade demand?

T'Wolves should only trade KG in a deal that includes Allen Iverson or Jermaine O' Neal if possible.
