good game by both teams. We now understand why phil employed the strategy he did for the 5 prior games. that is when kobe tries to take over it inevitably leads to the lakers playing sun ball - and they can't beat phoenix playing that way. Diaw is playing in a big way, i love his game. Billy Crystal will have to wait Jack....

Haven't you heard of DVR?

Great timing for me on this game. I was afraid it might be an early afternoon game which might conflict with my tests, but I just found out that they are early morning which also lets me have time to sand/primer my car... maybe I'll finally get it painted by next weekend :D

SUUUUUUUUUNS!

They just totally took LA out of the game. At the end of the 3rd, it was obvious they just didn't want to be there.

I LOVE BARBOSA! What a game. What character, what heart the Suns have! All odds against after game 4, and how do they respond? 3 in a row. Bravo!

What happened to Kobe? He seems to avoid hitting some shots in the second half?

It's time to show these Suns fans what lakers fans are made of.

Congratulations for a well deserved win. The lakers got beat.

Once again congratulations. I hope you learned a lesson from laker fans and that's how to be a class act and accept defeat. (Y)

Yeah, this guy is right. ^^^

A great overall game by the Suns, making sure no one else got it going and then even when Kobe did, he didn't reconize that his teammates were struggling and kept going to them to get them going which if you look at the result, didn't go over well. Incredible comeback in the series from Phoenix too. (Y) Good luck against the Clippers, as you'll probably need it as they have big men that know how to play basketball.

Now that PHX4LIFE is gone I don't despise Suns fans, so congrats. You guys still don't know what you're on about half the time  but that could be said for all of us.

I was a tad scared when Phoenix was in a 3-1 hole since history had always favoured the team leading the series.

Its also kind of disappointing to see Phil Jackson's first ever first round playoff exit...

Here's something interesting, history has favoured the suns to comeback and win the series.

D'Antoni even did a Paul Westphal impersonation after game 3.

Kind of an anti-climatic end to one of the most exciting series in league history. But I'm thrilled that the Suns advanced. And they played a damn-near perfect game too. Barbosa is going in the sig, he was the difference maker.

Congratulations to the suns for becoming the 8th team to comeback from a 3-1 deficit. No wonder why kobe wanted to change his number.

The big problem with round 2 against the Clippers is going to be the inside game. If Kwame and Odom were killing them inside, I'm not looking forward to Elton Brand. I'm not going to put it out there that they have to stop Brand, I doubt that would happen, but they do need to get out on the Clippers perimeter players quickly. If they double down on Brand they need to get back out there instantly.
Another thing may be Nash keeping up with Sam Cassel. But when you factor in that he has to keep up with Nash it's a wash.

It's going to be a great series. I'm mostly worried about Elton Brand...if Marion isn't big enough to guard Odom, how does he expect to guard Brand, who is bigger and simply better?

That said, the Suns' quickness will be a huge advantage. I just don't see the Clippers being able to stop the fastbreak. Especially with the recent play of Barbosa...dude can't be stopped! If Barbosa, along with Diaw and Thomas keep contributing, we're in good shape.

Suns in 6!

No. He tried to involve everyone, which didn't turn out very well.
