That's got to be the worst argument ever..

Lebron's is about as close to a perfect ball player as it gets. Yeah he does make bad decisions, misses shots, gets lucky calls.
But look at those three years he's been in the league.. nobody can stop him anymore. How can a person have such an extraordinary combination of his ultimate athlete's body, amazing basketball skills and a very strong mind. I mean just about everyone would've gone crazy with that kind of pressure and he just keeps delivering.

OK, what I just wrote is a little exagerated and makes me look like a huge Lebron fan, which I am not (as in not huge, I just like him). But this is just how I feel right now.

WOW Bron sure did a good job getting out of the 1st round on his own.

so lebron's impact was little to none? 2 game winners, averaging over 30+ ppg, shoot outs with arenas, come on, stop the lebron hating and respect what he has done

people like laker socks is the reason i changed this thread title.

LeBron, Melo and Wade are all great players(great in the sense their really good, not hall-of-famers yet). I don't think theirs any point saying oh Bron has Hughes, Melo has Dre and Camby, Wade has Shaq thats why they win. They have proven that they can be clutch and win games on their own, they all have pretty good stats lines and remember these guys specially Bron and Melo arent even in their prime. To think how a 20 year old that never played college ball and 21 year old that played one year could be winning games and posting up the stats they are so early on is remarkable.

You could even put Bosh in here although he's not as often talked about or has such strong hate bases. Seriously, you can only fully judge a player only when he has hit his prime. Look at how Kwame Brown has improved, yeah he's still no stud and I do laugh him off but you can't deny the fact that he's improved as a player.

Calm down guys. Im not hating on lebron here. I just felt the need to point out a comment by some guy.

Lebron has done something Carmelo, T-Mac and Kobe never did on their own - get out of the first round

Please add John Stockton, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and countless other players to your little list. They too, did not advance to the 2nd round on their own because they had HOF teammate(s). I reckon you should also add Wade because he had Lamar Odom in his first year right?

See how absurd this statement is right now?

While were at it why not point out that Melo and Wade made the playoffs in their first season? No? That would be stupid right?

EDIT: Oooohhh wait Duncan never got past the 1st round without Robinson, P"arker, Ginobili. How cool is that huh?

Damn...Stockton was never a first option in their team, neither was Magic. Bird and Duncan went past the first round as first options, something T-Mac, Melo and Kobe have never done, got that? Cool, huh?

each player faced tougher competition....getting through to Rnd 2 in the East is no accomplishment these days...it's where you do when you get there.

Stockton was never the first option? Uhhh he ran everything in that team. If he wanted to shoot the could've.

Neither was Magic? Please dont give me crap that a 5o year old Kareem was the primary option. Please.

Bird went to the second round as a first option with HOF teammates. So did Jordan.

See how stupid it is now to say that player x has advanced to the 2nd round on his own?

Well, I won't if you don't want to. He still went past the 1st round as first option.

Bird went to the second round as a first option with HOF teammates. So did Jordan.

Bron went to the second round without HOF teammates, something Kobe, Melo & T-Mac haven't done. Is that too hard to understand?
