32 asssits on 36 FGs for the Nets, just think about that. Wow, amazing game from the Nets, Vince has just been going crazy, and everyone stepped up for them. Krstic had 19 points, 11 rebounds, and some blocks in this one, and had another good game. Jefferson was big, especailly down the stretch, Kidd with his 15 dimes, Vince obviously, great game.

:chug: The Nets are advancing to the second round :chug:

RJ was big for us, and VC was not clutch with his scoring but set up 3 separate baskets for both Krstic and Jefferson. Kidd almost with a triple double. AJ was murdering us, but we prevail nonetheless.

Looks like Miami will be waiting Revenge

Damnit... I lost $5 on this series. If only I was smart enough to find out if Peja was going to be playing in the series.

I must stress that this is just my opinion and not moderating and I don't mean to pick on you NJNetsFan because you're hardly the only person who does it, but I've never understood the reasoning that because someone likes a team that's doing poorly, they aren't allowed to dislike or comment on other teams.

Sorry, but........it was an irrational comment which seemed to make no sense at all.......I'd think that to hate a team there's got to be some reasoning as to why that's the case or else it's not relevant to the discussion at hand.

Anyway, next round. I think....Nets in 6? The Heat have had lapses of breakdowns in the playoffs and so far this season the Nets have played with a vengeance since last year's playoffs. Every time they play the Heat, Carter

I do it to, but it's no entirely like you said it is. If a fan of a unsuccesful team (a la Blazers) attacks other people because 'their' teams aren't exactly blossoming, is that entirely unfair and ignorant from him. It's like WisdomKid started flaming COOLmac because of his retardness.

rule of thumb: don't bet FOR a team with a perennial choker on it.

Agreed, I won't dispute that. I just question that the rationale of someone liking and supporting a lottery team renders their opinions irrelevant or unjustified.

That's a different situation though. For someone to mock another person for supporting a bad team when their team is just as bad or worse is hypocritical, pointing that out is just fair game. I'm talking about a person's opinions being dimissed simply because they support a team that's doing poorly which to me seems illogical because their support of a franchise through tough times doesn't necessarily indicate a lack of basketball knowledge.

Anyway, it's not a big deal. I only brought it up as it's a pet peeve of mine.

Sorry, I misunderstood. You're right, it is illogical.

Answer to that question: Nenad Krstic.

It's true that he's been the X-Factor on this team. When he's knocking down shots the Nets quickly catch fire. Also he's a big man who plays more of a mid-range game so they're not going to send Shaq after him. He'll be a big help to them.

And if Cliff Robinson can just do something to keep the bench from turning into total losers, that'll be a big help. (Y)

Carter, so far this season, averaged 38 points against the Heat. That's just insane. In comparision, Dwayne Wade's only averaged about 25 against New Jersey.

Call me a biased Nets fan, but the Nets can usually get it going against the Heat, and Miami's getting into arguments and everyone's getting suspensions handed out to them lately, it's a hellhole.

With the Fantastic 4 guys in our team I think we can win it all. I'm really optimistic about this squad !! Let's go Nets.

Prediction:
Krstic, Carter named for 2007 Las Vegas Allstar game. I'm not sure about RJ and I think it's almost impossible for Kidd nowadays.

i think the nets are gonna take this series -- 4-2, or 4-3. wade is injured again, and there's no way they can stop both RJ and VC. krstic is going to get his shots too through penetration + dish. this is gonna be a fun series :)

I don't think this series will be anything like the regular season. That last two games that Miami play against the Bulls seems to be the momentum changing factor for this Heat team. But we'll see..

Krstic has a chance, I mean there's not so many good big men in the East right? And I can bet someone's going to respond with a huge list but what I'm saying is Krstic is definitely in contention.

Jason's had a stellar career but he never gets recognized because he's the one setting up others. He's the foundation for the Nets.

RJ's the consistent one. He can score a good 15-20 almost every night.
