I'll go 3-2 for February....

as for the All-Star starters:

East
PG: Chauncey Billups
SG: Vince Carter
SF: Lebron James
PF: Chris Bosh
C: Shaquille O'Neal

West
PG: Steve Nash
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Tracy McGrady
PF: Kevin Garnett
C: Yao

I would also like some bonus points for putting Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace & Richard Hamilton on the bench for the East

if Billups is beaten out, it will probably be by Iverson, but I'd say he should be fine....

 I highly doubt that I will get all four of those guys onto the All Star squad, EA goes with stats not value to the team :S

Also I did origanally make the prediction just a guess to see if the players make the All Star Squad, but will switch it to predicting the starters like most people have so far anyway, plus it makes more sense (Y)

After a 2-2 month in January the Pistons will want to bounce back in February.
They face the Hawks first up, who while being young and athletic should be no problem.
Look for a dominating performance and also hopefully a few highlight dunks.

Image
Boxscores: [Hawks]|[Pistons]

The Pistons wanted to get bakc on track after a .500 month, and they did it with authority.
Trouncing the young Hawks by 22 the Pistons never looked in trouble,
out scoring the Atlanta side in each quarter except the third where the bench played some big minutes.
Rip Hamilton had 41 points in an amazing shooting display from all areas of the court.

The Pistons led from the start of the first, and while the boxscore suggests it was a close quarter
it was far more dominated by the Pistons than apparent.
Rip Hamilton had 12 of his 41 in the 1st before sitting out most of the second quarter.
With Rip sitting Chuncy Billups took over in the 2nd where the Pistons extended their lead to 10.
During the third the Hawks made the most of the Detroit starters' absence and pulled the lead back to 8.
However the 4th was Rips showtime, dropping 24 of the Pistons 32 points, he sunk all hopes of a Hawks comeback.

Rip's 41 came on 16-26 FG, 6-7 3pt and 3-3 FT, he also added 3 assits.
Chauncy Billups had a good supporting performance with 22 points and 8 assists.
The Hawks were led by Joe Johnson with 26 points 4 rebounds a 3 assists.
Al Harrington dropped 20 points and pulled down 8 boards.

The Pistons travel to Toronto, Canada to face the Raptors,
they will hope to maintain their momentum from a 22 point thrashing of the Hawks
into this game, Chris Bosh playing injured to so look for the Detroit forwards to have an easier time.
Also rookie Joey Graham is playing with a tweaked ankle so his minutes could be limited.

Image
Boxscores: [Pistons]|[Raptors]

Any doubts that the Pistons could carry on their stunning play form the previous game
were dashed as the Pistons put on another dominating performance to blowout the Raps on Toronto.
A great all round effort from the Detroit starters left no chance for the Raptors to get in the game.
Mo-Pete and rookie Calderon couldn't do a single thing to stop the superior Pistons backcourt,
with both Billups and Hamilton scoring over 20 points on 50% shooting.

Detroit led form the start, and even though the Raptors managed the stay close during the first
the game quickly got away from them in the 2nd.
The thrid looked like the Raptors might still have a chance as the Pistons couldnt shake them off.
However Billups made some of his signiture big shots in the 4th to lead the Pistons to a
25-18 4th Quarter and a 21 point victory on the Raptors home court.

Rip Hamilton once again led all scorers with 25 points, to go with 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
Billups also had a great night with 23 points, 5 boards, 7 assists and 6 steals.
The Raps were lead by Bosh with 15 points and 7 boards in only 26 minutes.
Rookie Villanueva had a double double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Rip hitting another buzzer beater 3, his range has really improved this season.|| CV defending Dice in the post, CV played well in the middle to help the injured Bosh
Image
The Raptors must have been dissapointed after tonights game, once more failing to get the desired result.

Next up: vs Miami Heat

The Pistons are once again on a roll, beating the Hawks and Raptors
in dominating performances, however the Heat are the first big obstacle for Detroit.
This will most likely be an intense matchup between two possible Conference Finalists.

Image
Boxscores: [Heat]|[Pistons]

This matchup failed to meet its expectations, while most expected a close game,
it was anything but that, Detroit Destroyed the Heat in the first half, and then put the nails in the coffin in the fourth.
The Pistons upped the game pace from their usual grind it out style, and outran the Heat.
"We needed to show that we can play fast offensive ball as well,
if we meet Miami in the Playoffs they will know not to take us as only a defensive team" - Rasheed Wallace.

The Pistons outscored the Heat 62-45 in the first half, mainly dude to the Miami swingmen being unable to contain Prince.
The third saw some great play from Wade to cut into the lead by 6, but the momentum didnt follow over into the 4th.
At the start of the fourth Coach Saunders went with a small line-up,
with Delk at Point, Billups at the 2, Rip at the 3, Prince at the 4 and McDyess at Center.
This payed huge dividends as they ran circles around the tired Miami defense
strectching their lead out to 22 to finish the game.

Tayshuan Prince stepped up to lead all scorers with 34 points he also added 7 rebounds.
Rip Hamilton had a great shooting game scoring 21 points on 8-12 shooting.
Wade led the Heat with 33 points before going down with a knee injury in the 4th, results have not returned yet.
Jason Williams had a decent game with 14 points and 8 assists, but shot poorly.

ImageImage
Prince had a stellar night, scoring in all sorts of different ways, the Pistons will be glad they extended his contract.
ImageImage
D Wade was money with his jumpers tonight || Walker struggled tonight against the tough Detroit bigmen
ImageImage
Wades Injury will cause great concern for the Heat, it will possibly also put him out of the All Star game

Next up: @ New York Knicks
